I am a huge fan/follower of street style around the globe. I love discovering local flair and being able to be inspired by it and interpret it into my own wardrobe. So I thought it was about time we brought some more street style fashions to the Lulu*s blog so you ladies could be inspired just like me!

A couple weeks ago Brazil had it's fashion week, and Facehunter, an awesome street style blog, caught some amazing fashion and flair from the patrons of the shows. Check out some of my favorite outfits below!

I am always looking for new ways to properly take care of my hair. I have gone through so many different kinds of product trying to find the perfect one. After a lot of time and money, I am happy to share what I have discovered with you. From the best affordable products to natural hair care tips, this blog will be sure to heal your roots and leave your hair looking sleek and classic. We all have damaged hair, so here are some ways to heal your lovely locks.

This seems almost too obvious, but many people never brush their hair. When you brush your hair from the roots to the ends, this spreads the natural oils in your hair and moisturizes your scalp.

Vitamins are a great way to attain healthy and beautiful hair. The vitamins that promote healthy hair are Vitamin A, C, E, B12, B6, and Fish Oil pills.

This product is amazing and costs under $5. This is a light cream that leaves your hair smelling great. I love this cream so much because it doesn't leave my hair oily.

This is a wonderful serum that protects your hair from damage. I like to put this on before I use any kind of heat on my hair. This has actually made my hair grow a little easier. Be careful not to use too much or else it will get greasy.

This is a special, deep conditioner that stimulates the scalp and revitalizes your hair. I love this conditioner because it smells so good and works really well. I use this 3-4 times a week to get the best results.

This is a hydrating microcrystalline treatment mask Highly enriched with karit butter to moisturize and restructure your hair. The price somes in at just under $20, but it is so worth it and lasts a long time.

Pillow Talk: Connecting Lovers One Heartbeat at a Time

If you've even been in a long distance relationship or spent long periods of time away from your loved one, then you know how lonely the nights can be.

Despair no longer, however, because all that might be changing. Photographer and Designer extraordinare Joanna Montgomery is working to get final funding for a product she's calling "Pillow Talk."

Here's how she describes it:

"Pillow Talk is a project aiming to connect long distance lovers. Each person has a pillow for their bed and a ring sensor which they wear to sleep at night. The sensor wirelessly communicates with the other person’s pillow; when one person goes to bed, their lover’s pillow begins to glow softly to indicate their presence. Placing your head on the pillow allows you to hear the real-time heartbeat of your loved one."

I think this is such a sweet idea! Unfortunately, there aren't any pillow sets available yet as there is not quite enough money for production, but with the substantial funding it has already received and donations on PayPal, Joanna hopes to get it it going very soon - hopefully by some time in 2012. You can check out the development on her company's website, Little Riot, or on their Facebook page, which indicates pre-orders may even start next month!

Oh technology, the things you come up with! Now wouldn't that be a Valentine's Day present to remember!

As if scrolling through beautiful antique photographs weren't fun enough, My Daguerreotype Boyfriend on Tumblr has a carefully chosen collection of dapper young men from the 19th century. Sure, some of them have a few quirks like Munchkin hair - or were involved in some rather sinister plots - keep in mind that these men may have never otherwise been important enough to be captured by the photographic process!

Proof that Munchkin hair was at one point considered cool.

Ok, so this hunk was a bit of a bad boy. That's Ok, honey, I still know some girls who would date you.

Who doesn't love Taylor Swift? How can a girl that famous, that pretty, that rich, be so down-to-earth??? Well if you're looking for ammo to build a case against her, the February issue of Vogue's got nothing for you. If, however, you'd like to ooo and ahh over a gorgeous collection of photos of Miss Swift looking ah-mazing, then you're one lucky girl (or boy, I guess).

I'm SO in love with the hippie-boho-rocker feel of this shoot. Makes me want to go home and watch Almost Famous.

So, now I feel kind of shallow because all I really care about is the pretty pictures. The thing is, the interview is actually totally worth reading as well, so I really must recommend checking out the whole darn article.

Paris Haute Couture Fashion week is a time of over-the-top designs, costume-y creations, and generally pushing the line. It's a chance for designers to let loose that bizarre little child living in their brains and craft outfits that would make the movies proud. As always, the Spring/Summer 2012 show did not disappoint.

In addition to the clothing and the outfits, the makeup in so many of these shows is just out of this world. For your viewing pleasure, I've picked out some of the coolest/most outrageous face and hair combos spotted on the runway. Think you could rock any of these?

A flower child of Alexis Mabille.

How about a classy mohawk, a la Chanel?

Check out this sick braid on the models of Christophe Josse (I totally want to try this at home!).

Jean Paul Gaultier's whole show was dedicated to Amy Winehouse's memory.

Okay, while this isn't regular makeup, the body art of Franck Sorbier IS the sweetest body makeup I've seen in a long time.

Oh, hello, future of fashion. Slick ponytails and dark eye makeup of Versace kindof had a Tron theme going, don't you think?

Forest nymph, anyone? Maurizio Galante's models rocked some interesting foliage.

Please note the tiny dots beneath the eyes of Maxime Simoens's girls. Cool, or weird?

And then, just to be all NORMAL and stuff, Ellie Saab went with just plain, pretty, and powerful lashes.

I would say don't try these looks at home, but I'm actually hoping some of you actually will . . . and then post the pictures for us to see . . . just sayin'.

Hot Guy Spotlight: Jack & Joe

Anyone who's ever been to the LuLu*s warehouse will know that there are a LOT of girls here. In fact, out of all the employees who work here, the girls outnumber the guys 12 to 1. All the guys who work here are awesome, but the ratio is a little low; sometimes I just need an extra dose of manliness in my life.

And so . . . without futher ado, I bring you two guys with special swoon appeal.

Exhibit A:

The first, you probably know. Otherwise known as Joe Manganiello, he is best known for his role as the hunky werewolf Alcide on HBO's True Blood. He's also starred in How I Met Your Mother, Spider-Man 2&3, One Tree Hill, and a bunch of other movies and TV shows. He is also known for his delicious abs.

Exhibit B

Jackson Hurst. If any of you watch Drop Dead Diva (you know who you are, fellow Netflix addicts), then you'll know who I'm talking about. He plays the brooding lawyer Grayson Kent and looks damn fine in a suit. You might have also seen him in the 2011 A Bird of the Air, or last year's new series Unforgettable.

Both of these guys have seriously great hair! Yum! Anyway...um, moving on...
