DJ Mia Moretti at Coachella!!!

Our favorite DJ MIA MORETTI has been super busy and is probably still recovering from Coachella, where she played up a storm. Mia just sent me these pics of her at Coachella keeping the music going on and off the festival.

On the left is Mia DJing at the Indioasis Music Lounge, where she played along side Macy Gray and Sky Ferreira among many others!

Mia is not only a music guru, but a fashionista of the highest kind! I love how Mia stayed LA glamorous while mixing it all up. Mia paired an oversized bright rose red hat with a short and loose cropped top. The tropical printed cut offs keep this outfit funky and the red lipstick matches the bright headband to finish it off.

Below is Mia in a sweet printed tee with Danny Masterson at the Diesel Artist Brunch!

Mia also played at the Music Loves Fashion event with the electric violinist Caitlin Moe! Mia and Caitlin just did a tour together, and I don't doubt they blew up this party.

DJ Mia Moretti is back again and this time around she's teamed up with a fierce violinest named Caitlin Moe. Miss Moe and DJ Moretti have just released their new mixes out to the public, as well as some sweeeeet videos that debut their collaboration.

Theirs is a collaboration that is both refreshing and classic. The era of the classical and daudy violinist has been lost with the appearance of Caitlin Moe playing away to the scene of fashionistas and mixed with main stream beats that Mia brings to the table.

Caitlin and Mia make one mean blonde duo, so watch the video below as they "mess" around in the studio. Then go download their new Grammy mix and see where it takes you ...

Unicorn Heel Banannnnnnnnza & Lulu's FAVORITE DJ Mia Moretti!

Sooooo a few weeks back, DJ Mia Moretti picked out some shoes on Lulus.com, and they just so happened to be the Jeffrey Campbell Inches Black Ringed Unicorn Heel Bootie. (I know, it's a tongue twister, but they're cute all the same!) Mia wore these shoes out and about last week in New York City, and we found these pics.

Here, Mia is at the Paper's Fifth Annual Nightlife Awards in LuLu*s shoes with the oh so fashionable Josh Madden!

And here is another adorable pic of her in the JC shoes at the annual holiday Toys For Tots fundraiser where she was DJing!!

DJ Mia Moretti's Parisian Passion for Fashion

This season, we got "real" coverage from Kristin at Fashion Week in New York City, and now from DJ Mia Moretti at Paris Fashion Week.

Mia was, of course, DJing at Paris Fashion Week! This first pic is from the Fendi party, in which Mia sports a Kate Moss for TopShop jumper and (of course) a Fendi clutch.

Fashion week is a week of frantic energy, running from show to show and after-party to after-party. When I was in New York and Milan studying design, I would put on my big "movie star" sunglasses and red lipstick in an attempt to look just important enough to get in to the big fashion shows!

Now, looking back, it is pretty comical that I tried so hard to get "in"! However, it wasn't until I started going to the after-parties, and watching the people outside of the tents, that I saw the "real" new looks of the season!

Mia is an awesome example of a true "fashionista". Check out this pic of Mia, before she hopped on over to DJ at Le Baron, with none other than John Galliano (designer extraordinaire of Dior and John Galliano).

Here, Mia wears a sweet pink dress by her favorite L.A. designer, Brian Lichtenberg, and the photos were taken by party photographer Gerard Estadella. Here is Mia in action!!

For her last night in Paris, Mia traversed an art exhibit with Johnny Wujek who is, as she states, her "stylist extraordinaire and partner in crime!" The exhibit, We Were All Innocent Once, was of polaroids done by New York artist Jeremy Kost at Galerie Nuke.

Thanks to our lovely lady of L.A., Kristin Knauff, Lulus.com has recently begun an exciting new relationship with DJ Mia Moretti.

Mia Moretti mixes a funky, fresh and instrumentally inspirational mix that keeps you on your feet. Resonating throughout her music is an eclectic mix of beats and songs that sample not only different musical genres but geographical and cultural backgrounds as well.

Mia Moretti's childhood in Berkeley, California, was spent in a hub of musical innovation: her parent's house. Moretti's family spent most of their time together playing music with her father on the guitar and her mother on the piano, accompanied by varying musicians and instruments.

The environment of experimentation with musical expression in which Moretti grew up seems to have influenced and shaped the constantly evolving ways in which she meshes her mixes together. Moretti's mixes document both the back and foreground of the international urban club scene and make her a comprehensive contemporary artist.

To top things off, Moretti has played with legendary musicians such as Debbie Harry (Blondie), Santigold, Katy Perry, Passion Pit, The Virgins, MGMT, and Mark Ronson. Moretti's "Hot N Cold" (Katy Perry) mix landed on the Billboard Dance Music Charts for 10 weeks straight!

Not to mention that Mia Moretti is not only a goddess of music (more like a siren calling forth the people to dance the night away) but she is a style diva as well.
