Here at LuLu*s, we get the privilege of working with some super talented and accomplished fashion bloggers. Both stylish and sweet, these ladies are always a pleasure to work with. Finally, fashion blogging is seen as a real force to be reckoned with, influencing trends all over the world. As a result, we have seen increased involvement from the trendsetters behind our favorite blogs. Some of the special ladies we work with attended New York Fashion Week this year, and I was able to find some awesome shots of them having a blast in the Big Apple!

Above left we have the gorgeous Taylor from Sterling Style giving a loving squeeze to Kim from Eat Sleep Wear. Both of these blonde beauties have a style all their own.

Getting in a group shot with Joan Rivers?! Only in New York, I suppose! Above left we have the charming Christina of Trop Rouge, who just so happens to have my favorite hair in the entire blogosphere! The other half of the "Joan Rivers sandwich" is Taylor, again from Sterling Style.

Looking very "Sex and the City," Taylor and friends strut around the big city!

Introducing two more lovely bloggers whom we so adore, Julie from Orchid Grey and Jennifer from Jen Loves Kev (left to right). I am in love with this picture, particularly Julie's pants and Jennifer's perfect dress! Although I haven't worked with her yet, I have to give a shout out to Punky (far right). I have been a long time follower of her adventures via her blog, Punky Style. This vintage lover leaves all who read her blog thinking, "Man, I gotta do something cool with my life!" Definitely check out all three of these talented ladies!

One of the first talented ladies we had the privilege of working with was Rebecca of The Clothes Horse. I am in love with her style, feminine with a touch of whimsy, as seen above in her superb taste in headbands! She has truly developed her style, allowing in new pieces and trends but always looking "very Rebecca." Her blog is a must-read for those of you looking to build a blog roll.

Once again we have Jen from Jen Loves Kev! I had to feature this amazing dress on its own! I am in love with the vintage floral pattern. Along with having amazing style, Jen posts recipes and what it's like parenting a young baby! For all of you new mommies out there, Jen's chronicle of her beautiful daughter Rowan's growth is something to smile over.

Above we have the beautiful Aimee of Song of Style! She has an amazing modern and edgy style. Not to mention, her hair is always perfect! Her blog is definitely one of my personal faves; check her out and you will be hooked as well. I found this picture perusing the internet on HarpersBazaar.com.

Here we have Krystal from This Time Tomorrow. I love her! She always looks like she is about to giggle, and in this picture, I think she really is! Rocking a perfect pairing of chambray shirt and white fur coat, she is on trend and looking super cute! In her writing, she comes across as some one that you could just become friends with in an instant! Read her blog to find out the funny story of what happened to these gorgeous shoes she has on.

Oh my favorite, Keiko Lynn! The ultimate, stylish girly-girl with perfect hair and makeup and the all-time cutest dog! This amazing designer/blogger has the sweetest style and personality to match. Everyone loves Keiko and if you head over to her blog, I am sure you will fall in love too! I found this picture in an article covering street style at NYFW on Harpersbazaar.com.
Thanks to these lovely ladies for many great posts and pictures! Make sure to check them out!

"Color is a way of expressing light, not so much as a physical phenomenon but as that light which exists in the mind of the artist."
-Henri Matisse
Color, and the exploration of it in all of its abstract forms, is the bread and butter of the famous Missoni Family of Italy. The Missoni fashion house and its colorful history were founded in the province of Varese, Italy, where a factory was founded around scarves and embroidered fabrics.
After the first runway show in 1958, the decorative patterns -- including multiple colors, stripes, abstracts, shapes, and florals -- became the staple of the Missoni House. The utilization of various textiles, such as silk, rayon, linen, cotton, and wool, is another signature Missoni attribute.
For Fall 2010 Fashion Week in Milan, Missoni showed a variety of crop tops, knit wrap skirts, and blanket-like coats that had pin closures. What was really interesting about Missoni's collection was that the pieces were totally versatile. The pieces could be worn reversed, with the back changed to the front, as well as being able to be pulled up or down in any direction.

My favorites from this collection were the the big wool jackets and wraps accessorized with sun glasses. The wraps were draped to hang and frame the beautiful faces of the models in just the right way.

A hop, skip and a jump away from Bryant Park in New York City, is London Fashion Week! Matthew Williamson is most notably known for his use of vibrant colors as well as his dresses. The first bright blue dress below is a piece from Matthew Williamson's 2010 Fall RTW Collection. The second blue dress is similar looking in style and is from our very own Lulus.com!

Ruffles seemed to be on every runway show in London and were an integral part in Matthew Williamson's collection. Williamson's applied ruffles to shirts, dresses and jackets and the pieces below were my favorite from his collection.

New York Fashion Week Fall 2010 has begun!
During this week, Bryant Park transforms into a sea of white tents, and the fashion industry gathers to await this season's runway shows. Designers from all around the world come to show off their latest collections.
So far, Monique Lhuillier's Asian-warrior inspired collection is, without a doubt, my favorite collection. As in all of Lhuillier's collections, there were a handful of beautiful evening gowns, and the two below were my favorites. These elegant, form fitting, strapless gowns would look amazing on any Hollywood actress walking the red carpet at the Oscars. I love how both of these gowns have rosettes that taper down the base of each dress.
