With 2012's New York Fashion Week currently underway, I couldn't help but take a peek back at last season's fashion show and see what we might expect for this fall's newest makeup trends. Many of the makeup trends seen on last season's runway helped pave the way for the entire year's greatest looks, from neutrals to ravishing red lips and bold eyes. We couldn't get enough new ideas last year, and I can hardly wait to see what beauty trends await us this year!

Venomous Villains Collection: Makeup to Kill For!

Hello, beauty junkies! If you are as crazy as me about makeup you will have already gone gaga over this amazing collection. MAC, one of my favorite makeup brands, has done another one of their famous collaborations.

MAC has teamed up with Disney to create the ultimate in chilling and thrilling cosmetics. This potent line of makeup was named the Venomous Villains Collection for a reason. Featuring 4 mini-collections inspired by the dark divas of Disney including Cruella Deville from 101 Dalmations, Meleficent from Sleeping Beauty, the Evil Queen from Snow White, and last but not least, The Princess and the Frog's Sinister Dr. Facilier.

As with any cosmetics purchase I consider, packaging can make or break the sale. Fret not for the Venomous Villains collection's iconic packaging will leave even the Disney purist satisfied with the smoky, spooky imagery to die for. You'll find plenty of incredible items in these mini-collections including fabulous mineralized eye shadow, vibrant lipstick and sinfully shiny lip gloss.

I honestly wanted every piece but Maleficent, "Mistress of All Evil", spoke to me the most. Standout products include the amazing Mineralize Eye Shadow Duo. Combining two deliciously dark shadows swirling around like a spell brewing in a cauldron, are almost too beautiful to use. Another item to snatch up are the dynamic Nail Laquers, especially in Formidable! This dazzling duo of sparkling emerald and amethyst is combined into one unforgettable polish. In the Evil Queen Collection, the classic red of Toxic Tale is so intoxicating you will feel as though you have taken a bite out of a poison apple!

Regardless of what you choose make sure to act fast! These products just hit stores yesterday ladies and are some are already sold out online! Make sure to high tail it into your local MAC store because this collection will be gone before you can say "Magic mirror on the wall, who is the fairest one of all?"
