Brandon Flowers, be my boyfriend!
I cannot get enough of Brandon Flowers’ latest album, Flamingo.
We all know this stud as the vocalist of The Killers, everybody’s favorite Las Vegas dance pop machine. I heard BFlo’s first solo single, “Crossfire,” after it got leaked online on June 11 of this year, and let me tell you sweet peas: I was hooked faster than a celebrity on Kombucha.
Other leaked jams have revealed, Flamingo, as an album that’s as danceable as The Killers with a prettier, more vulnerable tone that Mr. Flowers has never shown us before.

Bonus: the music video for “Crossfire” features a kick-ass Charlize Theron saving Flowers from, like, 50 ninjas while he gives her the cutest little smiles of gratitude ever captured on film.
Girl power and a sensitively sweet man?!
I am SO buying this record when it drops September 14!

Since our favorite lady Siobhan is off for the week, I am stepping up to bring you the latest and greatest for your Monday Music Must!
You may have never heard of Christina Perri before, but after the June 30th episode of "So You Think You Can Dance" she has exploded into the collective music consciousness. From behind dancers Billy Bell and Kathryn McCormick, Perri's song "Jar of Hearts" reached the ears of many; more than 48,000 downloads of her song on the Billboard's Hot Digital Songs charts debuted her at No. 28 this week.* Not bad for a Philly girl who isn't even signed!
Perri's voice is haunting in the honest hurt that can be felt in the song lyrics. Such an open expression of emotion will hopefully pay off in the future. Good Luck Christina! I'll be getting your EP when it comes out!

Dita Von Teese, queen of burlesque and hot retro style, took in the sights and sounds of this year's Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Dita spent the three-day event looking flawless in a variety of outfits that adapted retro glamour for life under a sunny desert sky.
(Left): I am in love with Dita's nautical-style, high-waisted trousers. Her updo is also rockin', managing a put-together look that is also casual.

(Above): From the mary jane wedges to the layers of bangles, this is Dita's awesome version of boho beauty. I love all the earthy tones on that tropical print dress!

(Above): Ladylike charm is what it's all about in this look. Soft satin ruffles, that polished hat and a pretty chain purse keep Dita looking elegant. Psssst, recognize that lovely lady with her? Yep, it's Katy Perry looking day-glo pretty.
What was your favorite Dita look?

Return of Glee + Madonna + Sue Sylvester + the beauty of viral advertising = excellent viewing
Last night a promo video for Glee's upcoming episode featuring a Madonna playlist was aired. Jane Lynch sings along to "Vogue," making me want to grab the new Like a Prayer Gloves and dance around the warehouse circa 1990. Strike a pose, there's nothing to it!!

Breathe Carolina is an electronic pop/scream band formed in 2007 composed of Denver, Colorado natives David Schmitt and Kyle Even. The name Breathe Carolina came from a strange dream Schmitt had in 9th grade, about a woman named Carolina living his life. In 2009, the band announced that they had left Rise Records and signed with Fearless Records, began recording and finished their second alblum Hello Fascination.
If you enjoy dancing and listening to this genre of music I'm sure you'll love Breathe Carolina's new alblum Hello Fascination. Their awesome first single off the new alblum, Hello Fascination, is a very fast and upbeat song with catchy lyrics. Check it out and then vote for them on our contest!

Not much comes to mind when thinking about the state of Maine except for their thousands of lakes... that is until now.
Sparks the Rescue is a 5-man pop/rock band ensemble from Portland, Maine. Their originality, high energy, and musical talent makes this band a force to reckon with.
Ten years in the making has evolved Sparks the Rescue, comprised of Alex Roy (vocals),Toby McAllister (guitar), Patrick O'Connell(guitar), Ben Briggs (bass) and Nathan Spencer (drums) from high school wannabes to rock stars. In 2009, MTV crowned them the official winner of the "I Want My Music On MTV! Competition!, and they are now are touring across the country on the VANS WARPED TOUR.
Their latest single "We Love Like Vampires" off of their "Eyes to the Sun" album has caught the attention of fans and vampire lovers everywhere. They have incorporated societies obsession/fad with vampires into a pop/rock love song.
I love their music video because it is unique, yet relatable, and I must say they do look good with fangs!
