This week on Blogger Spotlight, it is all about the beautiful Blair and her blog, Atlantic-Pacific! Based out of San Francisco, this East Coast transplant showcases perfect color palettes and fantastic accessories week after week! Take a look below for some of my favorite outfits.

Pretty in pastel, Blair mixes it up with two button-downs, adding an unexpected twist to an already exciting dress. Always a fan of statement jewelry, Blair's chunky pearls add glamour to the preppy charm of the outfit!

Reminding me of modern mix between Twiggy and Edie Sedgwick, Blair pairs a brightly striped 60's style shell top with a pencil skirt and tops it all off with a high bun and bow! So perfectly ladylike!

Leather shorts look awesome in this tough and chic ensemble.

I am in love with this mixture of prints! Camo and gingham are perfectly balanced with the simple and oversized tan striped clutch.

Wintery warm in grey and animal prints, this look from last fall is one of my favorites of that season!

Obsessed with this version of color blocking, Blair keeps this trend chic by using 70's-esque pleats and bright saturated colors.

I love the 70's-inspired boho crochet top with the piles of jewelry!

In a satiny jumpsuit with a vintage style leopard coat, Blair mixes trends and decades with ease!
If you want to get inspired on how to seamlessly mix trends and how to accessorize just right, make sure to head over to Blair's blog, Atlantic-Pacific and say hello!
I have been waiting to introduce you lovelies to one of my favorite new bloggers. With the most amazing foot wear and hair we would all die for, Laura from On The Racks is on my personal blog roll as a daily read. This San Francisco based blogger has received plenty of attention for her fasionable photos. Featured in Teen Vogue, Elle Spain, NY Magazine and more, this girl deserves all the attention. With an amusing style to her writing and the most killer style shots, her blog always leaves me feeling inspired. Check out some of my favorite shots below for some creative and fresh styling.

A perfect fur hat makes this one of my favorite pictures!

Love the leopard detail on the hat and the platform boots!

I love this glittering vintage dress shot in a green field with bright sunshine. This makes me want to get outdoors and take pictures!

Make sure to check out Laura and her amazing blog. With surroundings as beautiful as hers and styling so inspiring, I am sure you will be as hooked as I am!

Greetings from L.A.! I have just completed my road trip of California and I thought I'd share my trip with you all (while sharing some fun travel tips)!
My roommate and I started from our hometown of Sacramento and drove down to San Francisco to visit one of our friends (Travel Tip #1: Instead of spending loads on a hotel, stay with a friend. They'll be happy to have you... although don't stay longer then 3 days, you don't want to impose). While there we shopped on Market St., walked around Haight and Ashbury, and had a picnic at Golden Gate park. (Travel Tip #2: Pack some groceries. Eating out can be fun, but it can also be unhealthy. Instead of going to fast food joints, pack trail mix, fruit, and sandwich makings.

From San Francisco, we left for our 6 hour drive to L.A. Neither one of us wanted to stay in the car for that long of a time, so we thought it'd be fun to make a little detour to Solvang. Solvang is an old Dutch town with fun shops and amazing restaurants/bakeries. We ended up choosing a place to eat, and indulged in a dessert known as Aeble Skivers. These are pancake-like balls topped with Raspberry syrup and powdered sugar sprinkled on top. Delicious!

After our amazing meal, we continued on the road and eventually made it to L.A. The next day we ate lunch with a friend at Mini Kabob (Travel Tip #3: Don't judge a book by its cover, especially when applied to restaurants). Mini Kabob is this tucked away Greek restaurant run by a loving couple, and I have to say, it was the best Greek food I've ever had!
Next we went to Santa Monica! We walked through the 3rd St. promenade where there were a bunch of cool stores and some street performers. Then we headed to the Venice boardwalk where there were more street performers and street merchants. A lot of cool art and jewelry can be found here.

Last, but not least we finished up in Hollywood! After some shopping (Hello Rodeo Drive!), we went back to Graumen's Chinese Theatre where I got to compare myself to the stars...at least with my hands and feet. FYI I fit perfectly into Marilyn Monroe's hands and Arnold Schwarzenegger's hands are HUGE!
P.S. Do you have a crazy vacation story? What tips do you use to travel?

Cave creates elaborate costume-like works of art that cover every part of the body minus the heels, which is a vital part of activating these pieces in contemporary dance.
"African ceremonial costumes and mask are obvious points of reference” writes Cave in a personal statement.
The wearer is often burdened by a large and awkward assemblage of materials ranging from antique toys to woven handbags. At the same time these pieces give the dancer a chance to move in a new way and often have a audio element to them.

We have been doing model profiles and interviews with models from our vintage section, however, we have not yet done a profile on any of the in-house LuLu*s models!
So, I am here to introduce you to one of the first Lulus.com models and one that will be leaving us and moving to LONDON this month! We are sad but very excited for her and (selfishly) can't wait to get fashion updates from London!!!
Here is Serine.... and she is, needless to say, one of the funkiest and fun models I have EVER worked with! Below are some pics done outside LuLu*s (in my designs) for a little sneak peak into her "real" personality!! Keep posted this week for the newest pictures of Serine in CUTE dresses on Lulus.com!!

Serine was born in Santa Cruz, California. She grew up in San Francisco, and then moved to Chico, California, for high school. During her junior year of high school, Serine got an internship at the LuLu*s Fashion Lounge boutique in downtown Chico.
Soon after she began her internship, the Lulus.com website was launched, and she became one of the online team! Now, Serine does everything from modeling on the site to supervising and coordinating our inventory.

In her time off, Serine travels. Her favorite places are Serbia, Croatia, London, Amsterdam, Bosnia, Switzerland, Greece, and Rome. At the end of this month, Serine is actually leaving us and moving to London. When she gets there, Serine plans to work in the fashion industry.

Pictures were taken by Daniel De Porres and Kyle Delmar.

Lissy Trullie is my newfound, stumbled upon, beautiful female artist of the week.
So far on my search about her, Trullie has been pretty sweet. She isn't one of "those" rock girl icons that gets a taste of fame and becomes doomed to the night club party scene.
And she isn't faking it. Although she did change her name from Lizzy McChesney to Lissy Trullie for stage purposes.
Trullie's new EP "Self-Taught Learner" is upfront and personal about the fact that she is young and that she is, practically, "self-taught". I like the honesty of it, I like the feeling of listening to something raw, not sugar coated or Photoshopped. Trullie's sound is that of an Indie rock band; I immediately think of the Yeah Yeah Yeah's brisk upbeat kinda feel (but that might be because I just wrote a blog on them??? this is of course subject to the opinion of the listener!).
Last February, Trullie opened for the "Warhol Live" show at the De Young Museum in San Francisco. Not only is it totally becoming of her to open a retrospective of a man who made girls like her into icons, but also that it was at the newly remodeled De Young, is a sign of what could come. I am not a fan of Warhol, but needless to say he made his impact and what a cool gig to score so early on in her career.
Lissy Trullie is not only a punk princess in the making but she is becoming quite the fashion muse as well. She started out a fashion model and went back at it when Max Azria for Hervé Leger used her for their Fall 09 campaign. Lissy Trullie's music video and photos were shot by Richard Kern and totally capture her Twiggy-esque look. Long and leggy with black tights and a short bob topped off with some heavy eye make up and this wondrous girl is ready to rock.
