I am positively in love with these photos of Scarlett Johansson from the new Dolce & Gabbana makeup campaign.

With retro-inspired glamour that hearkens back to Marilyn Monroe, the ad wished to capture both the seductiveness and vulnerability of a woman putting on her makeup.

I think Scarlett pulls off the look brilliantly! What about you?

In addition to her stunning D&G dress that had me green with envy, Scarlett Johansson was rockin' some glamorous, full body waves at the 2010 MTV Movie Awards.

I love this look. It's classic, it's universally flattering, and it always seems to pair so well with easy breezy sundresses when the weather gets warmer.

I'm not so much of a pro when it comes to handling a curling iron, but this look doesn't need to be perfect. The beauty of it lies in its loose and carefree nature.

That being said: there is some technique involved. That's where the lovely Tiffany of MakeUpTiffany comes in handy! One of my fav YouTube beauty gals, Tiffany has an awesome Curls with Volume tutorial that you MUST watch!

Tiffany advises using a 1.5" curling iron and a heat protectant spray of your choice. Take your time and make sure to heat the whole strand of hair evenly. Once done, gently shake out the curls and put on that glamorous strapless dress. Yowza! Now you're ready to rock!

The MTV Movie Awards happened this past weekend and we're here with the fashion highlights.

We already covered Katie Perry wiggin' out on the red carpet, but who else was rocking the carpet?

Twilight star Kristen Stewart shined in a metallic Dolce and Gabbana piece. Definitely looking fashion forward with a messy ponytail paired with the structured mixed metallic outfit.

High School Musical star Vanessa Hudgens wore Jenny Packham. This dress is fun, flowy, and perfect for summer.

Scarlett Johansson kept it classy in her D&G Green Lace Dress. She kept her look fun and classic with a great color and simple black pumps.

The Strong and Stylish Ladies of Iron Man 2

Scarlett Johansson in Iron Man 2 When I went to see the new blockbuster hit, Iron Man 2, this weekend, I expected plenty of action packed scenes and stunning graphics to go with it. The last thing I expected was to be struck by the amazing wardrobe choices of the film's two hot leading ladies.

Gwyneth Paltrow returns as Pepper Potts, the smart and faithful assistant to Tony Stark, played by Robert Downey Jr. Scarlett Johansson also joins the cast as Natasha Rushman, Tony's mysterious new assistant who's not only beautiful but kicks major butt.

Scarlett's character is definitely meant to be the sultry type. Her sharp business attire accentuates her feminine features with the utmost of confidence. Her wardrobe also seems to borrow from 1940's retro style with its high waistlines, polished pumps and one leopard print dress to die for!

Gwyneth's wardrobe is a bit more conservative. Black, grey and navy dresses pair with a tasteful boat neckline to keep her look focused on business while remaining both simplistic and lovely.

The Perfect Red Lip

What could make a girl look more instantly glamorous than a lusciously bold red lip? Icons like Marilyn Monroe and today’s celebrities like Scarlett Johansson and Katy Perry have utilized the power of the red lip on the red carpet. Why not try it yourself at your next cocktail party or night out on the town? Follow these basic steps for a ruby red pout:

1. Prime your Lips: You wouldn't put foundation over dry flaky skin, so don't do the same with your lips, especially when it comes to using a bold color like red. First, exfoliate your lips so they are nice and smooth. You can do this with your favorite lip exfoliant or with a simple sugar water paste. Rinse off, dry, and apply a lip primer like NP lip primer ($15 Target).

2. Line your Lips: Lip liner is always a must for red lips. Not only does it help create a shape-defining line, but it keeps the color from fading out of the corners of your lips. For red lips, I recommend "Brick" or "Red Enriched" lip liner by MAC ($13 - $14.50 maccosmetics.com). Line your entire lip with the pencil; then go on and fill in most of your lip with the liner. This will give your lipstick staying power.

3. Time for Lipstick: Now it's time to actually apply the lipstick! What shade you choose depends a lot on your skin tone. If you have pink undertones to your skin, give "Ruby Woo" by MAC a try ($14). It is a lovely bluish-red that compliments cool skin tones. Those with yellow undertones would be better suited for MAC's "Lady Danger," which is a bright coral red ($14). Medium olive skin tones will look great in "Heat Wave" by NARS, a nice red with a warm undertone. Darker skin tones would be best suited with a deep burgandy or brownish red such as "Ruby Vines" by Benefit ($18) or "Dubonnet" by MAC ($14).

Use a lip brush to put on the lipstick for a precise application.

4. Almost Done!: Now blot your lips with a bit of tissue, apply some clear gloss to add some shine, and head out on the town, hot stuff!
