Blogger Spotlight: Erin of Calivintage

Ahhh, Blogger Spotlight time!! My favorite day of the week to feature the web's best bloggers. I have been following this blog for more than two years, and Erin of Calivintage is definitely one of the most polished and put-together ladies in the blogosphere. Flawlessly combining vintage and modern, Erin has an eye for color combos that pop, ladylike dresses, and skirts as well as dreamy and beautiful bay area locations in which to shoot. Let's take a look at some of her best outfits below.

Ummm...perfect color combo! This is the kind of outfit I will "pin" or bookmark in order to refer to great colorblocking later when I need inspiration.

So girlie and cute with just the perfect amount of vintage inspiration. Who doesn't love a polka dot blouse with a big bow?!

Ahhh-mazing and playful. Wearing our Tulle Fire Look Out Jacket, Erin is ready to battle any chilly afternoon!

Cat-eyed perfection complete with a pop of color and a dreamy sunflare to complete the photo.

I love the rich mustard and bright red to accent our Tea at Three Polka Dot Dress! A classic shape pump really brings out the vintage look of this tea-length dress!

My favorite combo! Tortoise cat-eye sunnies, red shift dress, and blush blouse is just the best!

So cute! This outfit is so cute with the little floral vintage tie and high waisted skirt.

Always a fan of 60s-shaped dresses, this was an obvious choice for me to feature amongst favorites. Add a pair of vintage Salvatore Ferragamo flats and some maroon tights and you have an outfit I have worn variations of for at least ten years and will continue to do so for at least 30 more!

It's almost Christmas! This year I am giving you the gift of Neon Blush! What's that you say? Only one of my favorite blogs! Jenny, of Neon Blush, has the effortless and cool style that I aim to achieve pretty much everyday. Great separates, perfect denim, and just the right amount of edge. Take a look and see for yourself!

For me, adding a button down shirt is pretty much de rigueur. It toughens any outfit and adds an instant amount of cool - at least in my opinion. I love pairing menswear style button-downs with girlie skirts and heels. It is a flawless combo!

Love the tough jacket and boots with the contrast of a sheer, feminine blouse!

What an amazing photo! I am such a fan of hi-lo hems and this black pleated version is just awesome!

Casual cute with a sweater, printed blouse, and boots!

I love these Mink Pink Runaway slashed denim shorts! They would even work paired with tights in the winter!

I love the attention to detail with these amazing paper-bag-waist shorts and loads of perfect gold jewelry.

More edgy, menswear details with epaulette shoulders and tweed shorts. This is a perfect combo of sweet and feminine with a fun edge to it!

For this weeks blogger spotlight I wanted to focus on one of the sweetest girls around, Mara from M Loves M! With adorable style and a super sweet personality to match, reading Mara's blog is like chatting with an old friend! Recipes, outfit inspiration and tons of great accessories and hair ideas, Mara's blog is always a great read. Take a look below for some of my favorite shots by this lovely blogger!

The combo of sweet, retro-inspired curls and a striped and pleated skirt is absolute perfection!

I love the 70's-esque loose waves paired with the polka dot blouse. This is a great outfit for someone who wants to have fun with color but still dress professional and chic!

This week I have been thinking a lot about winter layering and how to stay warm while still looking cute. I was recently introduced to this blog, Flattery, created by the lovely Breanne. Breanne's blog had me visiting over and over again because she has the knack for creating super adorable outfits while staying warm in her native, Canada.

Whether it's windy or snowing, Breanne layers up with perfect boots, tights and a cute scarf!

Welcome to another spotlight on one of our favorite bloggers! Katie from Skunk Boy Creatures is not only the most adorable doll I have seen lately, but she MAKES dolls as well! This artistic and crafty young mom has the absolute cutest blog! With the rosiest cheeks and the sweetest of vintage dresses, Katy has captured many a heart here at Lulus.com! Take a look below for some of my favorite shots from Katie's blog!

Not only me but a few others around LuLu*s HQ began seriously considering changing their haircolor to the likes of Katie's! We are such a fan of the pretty shade of red although not sure anyone can pull it off quite like she can!

One of the things that originally drew me to Katie's blog was her love for vintage. As a life long lover of all things vintage, I can relate! This picture has some adorable vintage-inspired frames in the background and I love her perfect peter pan collar!

Here is a one of Katie's adorable creatures that she creates and sells on her site! Doing custom orders for weddings and gifts, these handcrafted, sweet animal-friends make an occasion extra special and memorable. I have thought about getting one for my niece (or myself!) for quite a bit and I must say, these particluar dolls seem to carry a special quality. Almost as if they have a little soul behind their sad, button eyes! They are my absolute favorite!

Time for a new Blogger Spotlight! Are you so excited? I am. I simply adore this cutie, Ms. Ashley from Fancy Fine! I love reading Ashley's blog because she has the sweetest vintage style, complete with a pretty dress everyday and long wavy mermaid hair. Her color pallette for each outfit is always flawless! She blends together the coolest combinations of mustard yellows, slate greys and seafoam greens. Ashley writes in a funny and down to earth way that makes you feel like you are talking to your best buddy. After meeting her in person at an event last month, I was excited to see that she is just as sweet and friendly in real life!

Perfect floral crown and 1960's lace dress.

I love the nod to the 90's with a more vintage twist in the outfit shown above. As a super big fan of colored tights, this maroon pair fits great with an orange nubby sweater.
