If you've ever spent some time trudging all your dirty clothes through the heat, rain, hail, or snow to the laundromat then the chances that you were daydreaming away as your clothes were on the spin cycle are pretty high.
When I lived in Brooklyn there were tons of laundromat's to choose from but I always chose the one's where I could have some peace and quiet. That being said, when I happened on this editorial I found it instantly entertaining.
I mean, how awesome would it be to do your chores in haute couture evening gowns?
Besides impractical, it is a hilarious picture of how much fun you can have with fashion. Plus, these photos are part of an editorial where the styling, set, makeup, hair, and casting couldn't be better.

This editorial was sent to me by our other Lulus.com Blogger, Laurie, and it is from Vogue US 2005 by Steven Meisel.

Have you ever wandered across a fashion editorial that took your breath away?
The first time this happened to me, I was flipping through a Vogue when I was about 14 and was caught breathless when I saw an editorial in the back of the magazine. From then on fashion has had my undivided attention.
As I perused Fashiongonerogue this morning I stumbled upon this editorial from Vogue Italia in 2003 done by the god of fashion photography Steven Meisel and modeled by none other than Jessica Stam.
Re-visiting Kathleen's blog on colored hair I have to say the look, styled here in 2003 by Brana Wolf was revolutionary. The way Jessica's hair glows in some of these pictures gives a whole new meaning to avant-garde.

Was your breath taken? Mine sure was!

Miss Kloss: The new and all-American model from the midwest!
At age 13 a legggggy 5'7" Karlie Kloss was helping out at a local charity fashion show for a friend in St. Louis (which is her hometown folks!) and was scouted/scooped up by an agent who happened in on the show. Now she is only 17 years old and is getting, let's just say, a completely different kind of education!
Karlie is a favorite of photographers because she is known to add her own ideas, opinions, and thoughts to the shoot. Steven Meisel (uber famous fashion photographer!) says that she "thinks from the point of view of an editor and of a photographer, not just that of a model."
Perhaps some of this comes from her years of ballet training... who knows? But what we do know is that this high fashion muse has really got it going on, especially to have won the respect of Steven Meisel.
