  • Glee went Gaga for Gaga!!

Glee has been pulling out all the stops this season. They blew us away last month with "The Power of Madonna" episode (check out our blog about it), and last night they tackled "Theatricality".

Unless you've been living under a rock, you know no one does theatricality like Lady Gaga. The ladies of Glee (and Kurt!) sported looks inspired by Lady Gaga including her space gear, bubble dress and even an appearance of a stuffed animal (total disaster!) dress.

They didn't just dress like Gaga, they performed Gaga. Last night's episode featured a power house performance of "Bad Romance" and a softer version of "Poker Face". If you didn't watch it you better go find it somewhere quick!!

Want to get the Gaga look?

Unfortunately we are fresh out of dresses with bubbles and stuffed animals attached to them. However, last night Santana worked sexy black lace tights that I feel you can achieve thanks to our Starry Eyed Stirrup Tights. Paired up with our Be Blithe Dress in Black, you'll be channelling your inner Gaga so soon, you'll be playing your own love game.

What did you think of Glee gone Gaga? Who do you think rocked out Lady Gaga the best last night? Did the boys outshine the girls with their Kiss performance?

  • Sex and the City Update: Aidan or Mr.Big?

Sex and the City fans everywhere are no doubt greatly anticipating the release of the second movie later this month. If I wasn't excited by the first trailer, the newest ones have me floored.

Upon seeing Carrie's past love interest, Aidan Shaw, added to the mix, I quickly cried to my roommate, "What are they doing to me?"

A lover of the good guy with no tricks up his sleeve, I was a big Aidan fan and disappointed to see him go. Bringing him back now would just be toying with my heart.

That's when I wondered what other fans thought. Were there any second thoughts in regards to losing Aidan, or was Mr. Big the right choice?

I took a quick poll of fellow LuLu*s workers who watched the show, asking if they'd choose Mr. Big or Aidan for Carrie's soul mate. Outcome: Mr. Big won by two votes.

While many of us would have picked Aidan ourselves, there was a general agreement that he wasn't right for Carrie. Now, that I can understand.

Now it's your turn: Who would you choose? And please, no spoilers!

  • VAMPIRES AND TRUE BLOOD!!!!

I am finally coming out and admitting that I am a HUGE fan of the television show True Blood. I had not grasped the "cool factor" of the vampire trend until I started watching this show. Now however, I have become enthralled with vampires and True Blood.

In this show, the charming Anna Paquin plays Sookie Stackhouse who is, among other things, a true Southern belle. Sookie is a barmaid at a local restaurant (who happens to be able to read minds) and she falls in love with Vampire Bill when he stops into the restaurant for some "True Blood" (synthetic vampire blood).

Soon enough, the darling and naive Sookie finds herself smack dab in the middle of a human vs. vampire war. Sookie finds herself in a difficult position as a mortal in a war of immortals! However, Sookie manages to stay alive through the second season without becoming a vampire.

I recommend this show for anyone who likes a little bit of action (fighting), a little bit of drama, and of course vampires!! Season three of True Blood premiers June 13th, so remember to watch out for it or for vampires on the loose!

Sookie is not only pretty but she also wears the cutest floral dresses I've yet to see. Here she sits with Bill at a vampire bar in a red and pink floral halter dress. Sookie doesn't seem to mind that she is the only one that hangs out with vampires that doesn't wear all black!

For a Sookie Stackhouse look, I'd go for any of our floral sun dresses. The Earth First in Mauve and Black as well as the Prarie Companion Dress would be great choices for a genuine Sookie look!

  • We're Lovin' Demetri Martin's "Important Things!"

If you haven't caught Comedy Central's Important Things With Demetri Martin, then you've been missing out on some serious laughs.

From law school drop out to popular comedian, Demetri Martin is well known for his stand up routine Demetri Martin. Person and his recent film, Taking Woodstock.

Now, with the launch of Important Things in 2009, Demetri has become a weekly staple in living rooms across the country.

The show features various sketches and skits in which Demetri puts on different personas. With his diagrams, drawings, guitar solos and spins on the ordinary, Demetri's style definitely appeals to those with a quirky sense of humor.

  • Glee and Madonna, but of course!

Return of Glee + Madonna + Sue Sylvester + the beauty of viral advertising = excellent viewing

Last night a promo video for Glee's upcoming episode featuring a Madonna playlist was aired. Jane Lynch sings along to "Vogue," making me want to grab the new Like a Prayer Gloves and dance around the warehouse circa 1990. Strike a pose, there's nothing to it!!

  • Ladies We Love: Lauren Graham

American actress Lauren Graham just may be the coolest mom on television. Her portrayal of young mother Lorelai Gilmore, on the hit series Gilmore Girls, will always be endearing to me.

No other than Graham could portray Lorelai's adorable stubbornness, quick wit, unstoppable sense of humor and incessant need for "coffee, coffee, coffee!"

Now, Graham plays Sarah Braverman on the new NBC series, Parenthood. Here, she's the mom of two teens, including a rebellious daughter who makes Rory Gilmore look like an angel. Well ... come to think of it, she kinda was.

Pictured below with Alexis Bledel on Gilmore Girls

Watch for Graham Tuesday nights on NBC!

  • Ready for Some Spring "Glee?"

After a chilly winter, I'm ready for a little singing and dancing to welcome in the spring season ... the spring season of Glee, that is.

Growing in fans and popularity, the bright-eyed talents in Glee Club are back on air Tuesday, April 13! Mark the date on your calendar, and get psyched by watching the preview below.

I see new songs and new romances budding in Glee's future. Remember the long-awaited kiss between Emma and Will at the end of the last season? Whew, that oughta warm things up for spring ...

  • Peggy Olson's Day Off

You may know Elizabeth Moss as the smart and determined, Peggy Olson on the hit series Mad Men. Moss's character is kept mostly under wraps in Season 1 and most of Season 2, sporting 50's style high collars, buttoned up cardigans, long wool skirts and an ever present ponytail all while her costars get to don elegant gowns, gorgeous jewelry and polished updos on a daily basis.

Despite all the layers, it's hard even on the show to hide Moss's captivating beauty, which is why I was thrilled to see her photo shoot in WWD's Accessories Issue from Feb 2010. Moss is a classic romantic in these pics with her loose waves and red lips. The styling by Roxanne Robinson-Escriout perfectly combines soft feminine pieces with daring metallics, while the photography of Diego Uchitel really adds a dreamy quality to the whole look.

  • Spring Greens Goes to the Super Bowl!!

Lately we've had a hard time getting any of the Spring Greens Dresses to stay in the warehouse for more than five minutes, and now we know why! Look below at just how cute the dress looks! One of our customers was at the Super Bowl on Sunday in the dress and sent us this picture and bit about the experience:

I received sooo many compliments on this dress at the NFL's Commissioner's Ball! My boyfriend works for the New Orleans Saints (Go Saints!) & I wanted to share this picture with you.

    XOXO

  • Time to Get Carried Away

I don't know about you, but I'm already excited to see the new Sex and the City movie due to come out this May!

I thought the first movie did a great job at keeping the story of the show alive without making things way too dramatic or over the top. The core of friendships and relationships was explored in a meaningful way. I'm interested to see what happens in the sequel. The girls are pretty much settled down (except for Samantha, of course), but it looks like it's going to be quite the adventure.

When I saw the first movie in theaters, the place was packed, and I swore I heard the popping open of a champagne bottle somewhere in back. This tells me diehard fans will make a celebration out of the release for sure!

So I got a little "Carried away" myself and named this cute little Hello Lover Top after one of our favorite fashionistas.
