    The effervescent young Jane Birkin (English-born actress and singer) was the essential Euro "It Girl" of the sixties and seventies. Often appearing with her dapper LTR, Serge Gainsbourg, this stylish lass has a photographic repertoire virtually unseen in the time period.     Ahhh, Blogger Spotlight time!! My favorite day of the week to feature the web's best bloggers. I have been following this blog for more than two years, and Erin of Calivintage is definitely one of the most polished and put-together ladies in the blogosphere. Flawlessly combining vintage and modern, Erin has an eye for color combos that pop, ladylike dresses, and skirts as well as dreamy and beautiful bay area locations in which to shoot. Let's take a look at some of her best outfits below.

    Ummm...perfect color combo! This is the kind of outfit I will "pin" or bookmark in order to refer to great colorblocking later when I need inspiration. 

    So girlie and cute with just the perfect amount of vintage inspiration. Who doesn't love a polka dot blouse with a big bow?! 

     

    Ahhh-mazing and playful. Wearing our Tulle Fire Look Out Jacket, Erin is ready to battle any chilly afternoon!

    Cat-eyed perfection complete with a pop of color and a dreamy sunflare to complete the photo.

    I love the rich mustard and bright red to accent our Tea at Three Polka Dot Dress! A classic shape pump really brings out the vintage look of this tea-length dress!

    My favorite combo! Tortoise cat-eye sunnies, red shift dress, and blush blouse is just the best!

    So cute! This outfit is so cute with the little floral vintage tie and high waisted skirt.

    Always a fan of 60s-shaped dresses, this was an obvious choice for me to feature amongst favorites. Add a pair of vintage Salvatore Ferragamo flats and some maroon tights and you have an outfit I have worn variations of for at least ten years and will continue to do so for at least 30 more!

    Welcome to another spotlight on one of our favorite bloggers! Katie from Skunk Boy Creatures is not only the most adorable doll I have seen lately, but she MAKES dolls as well! This artistic and crafty young mom has the absolute cutest blog! With the rosiest cheeks and the sweetest of vintage dresses, Katy has captured many a heart here at Lulus.com! Take a look below for some of my favorite shots from Katie's blog!
     
     Not only me but a few others around LuLu*s HQ began seriously considering changing their haircolor to the likes of Katie's! We are such a fan of the pretty shade of red although not sure anyone can pull it off quite like she can!
     
     
    One of the things that originally drew me to Katie's blog was her love for vintage. As a life long lover of all things vintage, I can relate! This picture has some adorable vintage-inspired frames in the background and I love her perfect peter pan collar!
     
     
    Here is a one of Katie's adorable creatures that she creates and sells on her site! Doing custom orders for weddings and gifts, these handcrafted, sweet animal-friends make an occasion extra special and memorable. I have thought about getting one for my niece (or myself!) for quite a bit and I must say, these particluar dolls seem to carry a special quality. Almost as if they have a little soul behind their sad, button eyes! They are my absolute favorite!

    Welcome to another round of Blogger Spotlight! Liz of Late Afternoon is one of my favorote spots to head over to when I am in need of some fashion inspiration! Mixing flowing skirts and tailored separates is just one of her many talents, in addition to always having fantastic hair and makeup to accompany her many fabulous outfits.      I love this pairing of neautrals and a denim top! So chic and simple with perfect proportions.
     

    Tailored and sleek red pants demand your full attention while a black and white striped top provide a graphic element to offset the bright hue!
     
     
    I love this playful ensemble Liz wore to Disney Land. It is almost Fairy-esque and topped off with super fun sequined mouse ears this outfit is definitely smile-worthy.
     
     
     Great example of layering and use of color and pattern.
     
     
     Worn at this weeks Magic Convention, Liz stands out in playful polka dots and a girly-cute skirt!
     
     
    My personal favorite of this group of photos, this vintage inspired pattern is perfectly played up with a bright turquoise clutch and amazing peach sunglasses. 
     
     
    Amazing stripes and a boater hat are perfect for a day at the marina!

    Welcome to another edition of blogger spotlight! So many blogs, so little time!! Adding to an endless sea of inspiration is the beautiful Louise of Miss Pandora! I have been a LONG time reader of Louise's blog and I am finally sharing one of my personal styles icons with all of you lovely readers! With a classic beauty and a real eye for timeless fashion, Loiuse has been one of my go-to blogs for fashion, hair and beauty ideas for quite some time. If you know me, then you would see why. I could copy this girl every day of the week and feel like I was living in a perpetual fairytale. With flowing locks, beautiful dresses and photos pretty enoughh to make you cry, you will be as hooked as I am once you take a look below!

    The lighting, the lace and the colors! I love the boater hat and the addition of the brown belt!

    For this weeks Blogger Spotlight, I could think of no better than the beautiful Miss James of Bleubird Vintage! James has the sweetest family and the most adorable pictures you could imagine. Literally, everytime I check out her blog my heart melts a little more for the sweet faces of her three adorable little ones.     We are back for another Blogger Spotlight! This week I wanted to highlight the beautiful Coury of Fancy Treehouse! Coury is an expert at creating soft and girly vintage looks! Based out of LA, this California girl is always looking perfect in pastels and nudes, some of her favorite shades. Whenever I need a bit of colorful inspiration, I head straight to Coury's page for a dose of cheerful fashion fun! Take a look at some of my favorites below!

    Perfect 60's style jacket tops off a jodhpur pant and desert boots!

    Taking one of our best selling dresses, the Whole Lot of Citron Going On, in an unexpected direction, Coury paired the bright dress with a rad striped tee!

    I love the bright fuschia clutch with the vintage camel-colored skirt! Coury always inpires me to mix unexpected colors together!

    Awesome summer combination of a green printed skirt and a lemon yellow top!

    This picture reminds me of something a young Brigitte Bardot would wear! I love the exaggerated collar of the top and the pale blue skirt!

    Perfect ethnic print clutch gives the light-colored outfit a pop of color!

     Always the accessory freak, this photo obviously made the cut! I love the natural braided look of the bracelets paired with the glam clutch and rhinestone accents!

    With vintage inspired designs so hot for this spring and summer I thought it would be nice to examine some of the original designs and appreciate some of our vintage selections! With 60's mod dresses, 70's prints, ponchos and more, LuLu*s has you covered for your Summer of Love!
