We are back for another Blogger Spotlight! This week I wanted to highlight the beautiful Coury of Fancy Treehouse! Coury is an expert at creating soft and girly vintage looks! Based out of LA, this California girl is always looking perfect in pastels and nudes, some of her favorite shades. Whenever I need a bit of colorful inspiration, I head straight to Coury's page for a dose of cheerful fashion fun! Take a look at some of my favorites below!

Perfect 60's style jacket tops off a jodhpur pant and desert boots!

Taking one of our best selling dresses, the Whole Lot of Citron Going On, in an unexpected direction, Coury paired the bright dress with a rad striped tee!

I love the bright fuschia clutch with the vintage camel-colored skirt! Coury always inpires me to mix unexpected colors together!

Awesome summer combination of a green printed skirt and a lemon yellow top!

This picture reminds me of something a young Brigitte Bardot would wear! I love the exaggerated collar of the top and the pale blue skirt!

Perfect ethnic print clutch gives the light-colored outfit a pop of color!

Always the accessory freak, this photo obviously made the cut! I love the natural braided look of the bracelets paired with the glam clutch and rhinestone accents!
Have you checked out Cory's blog before? Make sure to head over to Fancy Treehouse and say hello! You will be endlessly inspired by her amazing ensembles!

With vintage inspired designs so hot for this spring and summer I thought it would be nice to examine some of the original designs and appreciate some of our vintage selections! With 60's mod dresses, 70's prints, ponchos and more, LuLu*s has you covered for your Summer of Love!
This perfect 60's Pendleton Camel Shift Dress is a classic sixties dress and the color will go great with anything. Lately I have loved seeing cool neutrals paired with electric brights and this is the perfect shift to start with!
This summer you will find me in dresses similiar to the Bali-High Boho Dress, shown above. Pretty paisley print and perfect puff sleeves make this a go-to choice when the temperature heats up!

For the transistion from spring to summer reach for the Gilligan's Sassy Sister sweater to stay warm. I love the sienna color and the v-neck collar! So easy to pair with denim!
For cool summer nights throw the Boho Aztec Fringe Poncho in your bag and hit the road! Perfect with cut-off denim shorts and moccasins; you will get tons of wear out of this vintage poncho!
What vintage will you be wearing this summer?

Happy Wednesday! Time again for my favorite post of the week, Blogger Spotlight! This week I had to give some special attention to Julie from Orchid Grey. I have been a long time reader of Julie's blog and she has kept me and her many, many readers inspired with daily outfit posts comprised of both vintage and new items. What originally got me into her blog was her tagline, "Big hair, small wallet." As a girl with hair so big things get lost within it, Julie had me from the very beginning! This month, we were lucky enough to partner up with Julie for an amazing contest with a $100 shopping spree to LuLu*s. See the end of this post for details!
Check out some of my favorite Orchid Grey looks below!

This lady-like dress is perfectly paired with a cardigan and strappy sandals. A clear 1960's umbrella finishes the look with a touch of playfulness.

Obsessed with these 70's platforms. Julie, you know who to call if you want to pass those beauties on!

I love the look of the patterned skirt with the chocolate brown tights. Great color combinations!

Staying on trend in a midi skirt, Julie adds her own special touch by choosing a vintage floral pattern.

Looking perfect in a LuLu*s maxi, Julie adds strappy buckled platforms for a polished look.

I love the bright pop of orange handbag paired with the deep blue patterened skirt.
Julie has a real eye for color combinations and patterns, and to top it off, her writing is funny and super engaging! One of the many bloggers I hope to meet in person one day, you feel like you have a friend in her just by being a reader! Make sure to hop on over to Orchid Grey to get some inspiration and to say "Hello!"

Yesterday, when I came across Hope Adela from Pink Champagne, I knew instantly that she would be my Blogger Spotlight for this week. As I looked through her pictures and daily outfits, I couldn't help but smile and be delighted by how much fun she has with fashion.
Playing with patterns and textures, Hope Adela seems to embody a different fairytale or adventure in every outfit. In her "About Me" section on her site, Hope has written, "I believe that fashion is a creative and unique form of art, and try to incorporate that theory into every aspect of my life." Take a look for yourself to find out what she means in my favorite looks shown below.

With a definite affinity for turbans, headbands, and hats, Hope Adela is fearless with her accessories. In the first photo, my absolute favorite, she seems to be an old world gypsy, finished with an adorned turban and long gloves. In the second photo she takes color for a spin and embodies a Frida-esque look complete with bangles and a cheerful polka dot blouse.

Tulle and feathers for a romantic woodland look.

What do all three of the photos above have in common? Oh, just one of the most iconic prints of all time: leopard! With animal print accents and a full swinging 60's coat, Hope Adela adds flair in a way that most would stumble over. Excess and drama are clearly her strong suit, with all of these looks appearing effortless and fun - the mark of true style.

Some of us shine in simplicity and minimalism, others in full regalia with cloaks and capes, lame and leather, not an accessory left behind! Whatever your style, being true to your inner voice is what sets you apart from others and makes you special. I for one commend those who take fashion as a way to express themselves and their dreams, and Ms. Hope Adela is a perfect example! Make sure to check out her blog for more inspirational and fun fashion!
