Coats of Many Colors: Winter Jackets are Here!

When it gets cold outside, I have a tendency to throw on my schlubbiest clothes and muck about like a giant human sweatshirt. This year, however, I have discovered a much more glamorous alternative: winter coats!

Let's just take a look at Miss Meester here. She's in New York, it's freezing, and she looks totally adorable! This pop of bright red brings out the rosy glow in her cheeks and lips, and it works wonderfully as an accent to the rest of your neutral winter wardrobe.

Natalie Portman and Ashlee Simpson choose berry hues for a super-feminine look.

Kate Hudson looks incredibly chic in the classic beige trench coat, while Anne Hathaway rocks a hunter green trench coat for an extra punch of color!

When I buy a piece of clothing, I like it to work for me. A well made garment goes a long way. This year Lulu*s has added more than a few new brands, and Tulle is easily one of my new favorites!

Believe me ladies, I get to handle these fantastic garments, and the craftsmanship is off the hook. I also bought the silk and cotton blend "Well Spotted" dress and I absolutely love it. I like that it's made from fine natural fibers, and the cut is flattering to the figure. I mean, what else can you really ask for. . .it even has pockets?!
