Model Pick of the Week: Lulea Vest & Cute as a Button Shrug

Wow! We are working hard here at Lulus.com getting ready for the Fall season. New shipments are coming in every day with cozy items for the impending cold weather.

We had two favorites this week, the first picked by our model Michelle, seen below wearing the Lulea Vest [sold out!]. This vest has those great zippers that have been so hot this season, combined with a vintage feel from the great vegan fur and leather.

The second item is the Cute as a Button Shrug [sold out!]. Brittany, our marvelous customer service rep (who doubles as a personal shopper if you ever need some advice ;) ) put it perfectly: "Put buttons on a scarf and it is everything. It just makes so much sense!"

Talk about snuggle time! This shrug works as a scarf, vest, sleeves, jackets, etc., etc., a perfect wear all. Kendra, below, is showing but a few of the various ways to wear this bad boy.

Silver Screen Fashion: Katherine Heigl in The Ugly Truth

Gerard Butler and Katherine Heigl lit up the screen in their just released hit, The Ugly Truth. While these hot stars wowed the audience with their passionate salsa dancing and witty banter, one thing was clear: Katherine Heigl's wardrobe stole the show.

This romantic comedy sure had the audience rolling with laughter, but it also kept my roomate and I enthralled with the gorgeous garments Katherine Heigl's character, Abby Richter, sported in different scenes. A romantically challenged yet gorgeous producer, Abby expressed her classic taste and need for casual work wear through her choice of outfits.

And of course there were those special occasions to satisfy our need for show-stoping dresses: a form-fitting beige dress with an exposed zipper in back sported during the aforementioned salsa scene, a little black dress donned post-makeover, and an elegant cream dress with a draped v-neck and high waisted belt worn during a dinner meeting.
