Our makeup artist Sarah is sharing her tips for making all of our models look flawless for their close-ups! Today she’s showing us how to make any lipstick matte using our NYX Studio Finishing Powder and the fab summer lip color, Citrine by NYX Black Label. You can use any of your favorite lipsticks under the finishing powder.
- Step 1: Apply your fav lipstick.
- Step 2: Pour small amount of translucent powder in the lid of the container. Choose a fluffy brush that you don’t mind getting lipstick on. Sarah prefers a flat precision brush. Swirl and tap some of the excess powder off.
- Step 3: Working from the middle of the lip and outward, lightly tap the powdered brush and see the shine disappear to matte!
