It’s the ideal way to keep your strands under control but still flowing and effortless-looking. Plus, we’re pretty sure this ‘do would make a stunning boho bridesmaid hairstyle. Beach wedding, anyone?

What’s more: This dreamy ‘do is high on swoon factor but low on the difficulty scale. That means you can easily execute it on your own without spending a ton of time on your tresses. The peekaboo braid adds a subtle boho touch, as does the tousled texture (ideal if you are headed to a breezy beach or another venue where you might get windblown). Ahead, see exactly how it’s done.

Boho Half-Up, Half-Down Tutorial Steps:

1. Add texture spray or medium hold hair spray to hair.
2. Sweep hair back into a half-up section starting above the ears, secure with a hair elastic, and pull on hair for texture.
3. Wrap a small section of hair from the ponytail around the elastic and secure from behind with pins.
4. Braid a small section from the remaining hair, secure at the end with an elastic.
5. Touch up curls if needed and set with a medium-hold spray.
