Want a Fun Fall Mani? Try This Floral Nail Art in Rich, Earthy Hues

Published by

Autumn is full of inspiration, especially the gorgeous warm, earthy tones that are perfect for fall nail designs! Flowers are an easy way to transition your nail art into the season: They’re simple to do, and playing with alternating colors and patterns gives this manicure a whimsical look.

Using similar earthy tones means this monochromatic look also has a fun ’70s vibe–one that pairs perfectly with a cozy matching sweater. Ready to switch up for the season? Ahead, see everything you’ll need to nail this simple fall manicure!

Floral Fall Manicure:

Supplies:

  • Base coat
  • Camel nail polish (I used Super Bloom by Orosa Beauty)
  • Rust nail polish (I used Arabesque by Cirque Colors)
  • White nail polish (I used Like Spring by Paintbox)
  • Dotting tool
  • Glossy top coat

Instructions:

Step 1: Prep your nails and apply a base coat.

Step 2: Apply your lighter camel shade to the thumb, ring, and pinky fingers until opaque.

Step 3: On your pointer and middle fingers, apply the deeper rust shade until opaque.

Step 4: Using the deeper rust shade and a dotting tool, create three small flowers on your thumb, ring & pinky finger. Working in a circle, make five dots to create the petals of your flowers until you have three flowers on each nail.

Step 5: As you dot on your petals,  make sure to clean off your dotting tool every once in a while as polish starts to build, so you get a clean dot application.

Step 6: Using the lighter camel shade and a dotting tool, create a flower pattern on your pointer and middle fingers. Working in a circle, make five dots to create the petals of your flowers. Fill up your entire nail with small flowers.

Step 7: To finish off all the flowers, grab a white shade and your dotting tool. Place a white dot in the middle of each of your flowers.

Step 8: Once the design is dry, top with a glossy top coat and don’t forget to cap the edge!
