One chic way to update the classic French tip: Create a lavender French manicure using
pastel purple and
sheer polish, both of which are super popular this summer. This understated design is an effortlessly cool way to wear nail art without distracting from the rest of your look. Wear it for a wedding or for work; either way, it’s pretty, unexpected, and on-trend. What more could you ask for from a mani?

Lavender French Manicure Steps:
- Start with a pastel lavender polish shade (I used Floss Gloss in ‘Perf’) and paint a french tip by brushing in a swooping motion from each side of the nail, until you achieve the curved tip as shown. Tip: You can use a small nail art brush dipped in acetone (polish remover) to define the curve and clean up any mistakes.
- Once fully dry, use a sheer lavender shade (OPI ‘Engage-meant to Be’ is perfect for this) and apply two coats, or until the desired jelly effect is achieved.
- Apply a top coat and seal your nail art!

I purchase the "Performance" color stated in the description, and it is actually a super bright baby pink, but your description says it is a pastel lavender polish shade. Did you post the wrong color name?
