which polishes did you use? I can't seem to fond the perfect cheer pink or opaque white. Thanks!
The polished used here are "Bubble Bath" by OPI and "White Matter" by Formula X.
Are you letting the pink polish dry and then putting the white polish on top of it, or is the pink still wet?

A good top coat should help smooth blotches left from your sponge. Our nail artist built up the gradient by making several small dabs until it reached the desired finish.
That's really lovely. I think this would be an awesome "everyday" look. I wish I could find someone in this little town I live in who could do such things. I cannot do them myself. My right hand tends to shake and tremor when I try to even do my regular polish with one color, or anything else for that matter! And I'm right handed! (I have a pinched nerve in my elbow that's causing it.) And I refuse to drive 50 miles round trip to the nearest big city to hunt down somebody who can!
Could this be done in shellac? If so how would it be done? Would it have to be cured after every coat?
I know this post is old and nowadays it seems everyone is doing baby boomer nails painting at least 2 colours on a sponge (pink/nude & white).
I hope that sponging just the white will look as beautiful as in the photo!
Would be great if Hannah (the author of this post) could provide some update / opinion on this :)
