Every week, we’re sharing the new arrivals our head stylist, Ayla Ochoa, is loving most. This week, she’s focusing on a fall staple she reaches for again and again: boots.
“Boots are the anchor of my fall wardrobe,” says Ayla. “If I’m not in a loafer this season, you can almost guarantee I’m wearing boots. They instantly make an outfit feel more fall-ready, whether you’re styling them with a feminine dress, embracing a boho vibe, or keeping things classic and polished.” Ahead, discover Ayla’s favorite boots from this week’s new arrivals, plus three outfit formulas she’ll be wearing all season.
“If there’s one boot trend I reach for every fall, it’s a classic knee-high silhouette,” says Ayla. “This pair feels timeless yet current, and the versatile neutral shade works with everything from dresses and skirts to your favorite denim.”
“I love the contrast of a soft, flirty dress with a great pair of boots,” Ayla notes. “This gingham mini dress, with its sweet ruffle details, brings a feminine feel, while a pair of boots add just the right amount of edge. It’s the unexpected mix of pretty and cool that makes an outfit feel effortless rather than overly styled.”
She adds, “To finish it off, our cropped suede moto jacket is the perfect layer. The cropped silhouette complements the mini dress, while the suede texture adds warmth and that quintessential fall feel. It’s an easy combination for everything from a weekend out to a casual fall date night.”
“Boho is having a moment, and I’m loving the return of those relaxed, layered silhouettes,” says Ayla. “This cozy cropped sweater, with its statement bell sleeves, really leans into the trend. I especially love it paired with a flowy skirt. The shorter silhouette helps define the waist, while a longer skirt creates beautiful movement.”
“This plaid high-low skirt is one of my favorite pieces for creating that effortless boho feel,” she adds. “The movement gives the outfit an easy, free-spirited quality, while the plaid print keeps it classic and perfect for fall. Add your favorite boots, and you have a look that feels relaxed, cozy, and right on trend for the season.”
“Sometimes the easiest way to make your favorite boots the focal point of an outfit is to pair them with something simple,” says Ayla. “A sweater dress makes getting dressed feel effortless while still looking polished, and this off-the-shoulder style does exactly that. The neckline adds a feminine touch to the cozy knit silhouette, while the shorter length creates the perfect opportunity to let your boots take center stage. Whether you choose a sleek knee-high pair or a more casual ankle style, this is one of those outfits that looks like you put in far more effort than you actually did.”
