I, Ashley of Sugar & Cloth, think we can all agree that watered down drinks aren’t nearly as refreshing as crisp, fresh ones full of … mint! Okay, so maybe not everyone loves mint as much as I do, but in case mojitos ARE your style, then this one is definitely for you: mojito ice cubes! In honor of there never being a mojito casualty again.
for one standard tray of ice cubes
Squeeze the lime, and mix all of the other ingredients together in a glass, except instead of muddling the mint, just tear it into smaller pieces to fit into the ice cube tray openings. Let them freeze for 4-6 hours, and then use them as needed in mojitos!

I would have liked to find your mint syrup recipe here too, or at least a link. True I will fine quite a few online, but they may not work as well as yours does, mainly the proportions of ingredients to each other could be differenet.
Thank you for your comment, Bill! Ashley of Sugar and Cloth recommends and used this simple syrup.
Like Bill, I wish you'd given your mint syrup recipe. Also, a little more specifics on the aboved recipe....is the 1/2 lime juiced or cut up in pieces, rind and all? Thanks...the idea sounds refreshing, especially since we are still near 100 degrees here in Texas.
Hi Linda! Ashley used a pre-made simple syrup that can be found here. Regarding the lime, half of it is squeezed into the mixture to be frozen, but you can also reuse that rind to make your own lime twists to freeze into the mixture as a garnish without sacrificing another lime!
