Make Spirits Bright This Holiday With A *Super Easy* Cranberry Orange Mimosa Recipe

It’s the festive season, and what would the holidays be without a fabulous cocktail? These Cranberry Orange Mimosas are the perfect drinks to serve for a Christmas party, holiday brunch, or any other wintertime celebration. Plus, these might just be the easiest cocktails you’ll ever serve–ahead, I’m showing you how to make them.

Pour cranberry juice and orange juice into your champagne glasses, and top with champagne, prosecco, or sparkling juice. That’s it. Yep, it’s really that simple! For an extra fancy touch, you can dip the glass rims in maple syrup (or even water, it can also help the sugar adhere) and then in raw or coarse sugar. This adds a pretty sparkle to the whole situation, but isn’t absolutely necessary.

Serve up these mimosas with a sprig of fresh rosemary and a handful of fresh or sugared cranberries for the most beautiful cocktail you’ve ever laid eyes on!

One of the best parts of this recipe is how easy it is to scale up or down. Just want a mimosa for one or two? Buy one of those little mini bottles of prosecco or champagne and make just one or two drinks. Want a whole pitcher full? Just mix together your juices, then top each individual glass with the champagne when serving, so it doesn’t go flat ahead of time.

If you prefer a mocktail, you can also swap out champagne for sparkling juice. However you enjoy these, I hope you have a plate of gooey cinnamon rolls nearby! Here’s to a wonderful holiday season–scroll on for the complete recipe.

Cranberry Orange Mimosa Recipe:

Prep time: 10 minutes

Yields: 4 cocktails

Ingredients:

  • Orange juice
  • Cranberry juice
  • Champagne or sparkling juice, for a mocktail

For Garnish:

  • Maple syrup or agave, for the glass rims
  • Raw sugar, for the glass rims
  • Fresh or sugared cranberries
  • Fresh rosemary

Instructions:

  1. If desired, dip the rims of your glasses into maple syrup (or even water!) then into a plate of raw sugar for a special touch.
  2. Pour the orange and cranberry juices into each of your glasses. Top each with champagne–or sparkling juice to make a mocktail. *You can also make a large pitcher of this by mixing your desired quantity of the juices together and keeping it chilled until ready to serve. Top each glass individually with the champagne or sparkling juice so it doesn’t go flat ahead of time.
  3. Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary and a few fresh cranberries. Enjoy!
