Warm weather is just around the corner and Berry Mojitos are the perfect way to embrace it! This twist on the classic mojito recipe is incredibly delicious and perfectly refreshing: We’re using fresh blackberries and raspberries, fresh lime juice, and mint for the base of the mojito, along with a pinch of sugar. The result: sweet summer vacation vibes. Yes, please.
You could use simple syrup here, too–just muddle these ingredients together and add some crushed ice. Now, if you don’t have a crushed ice option on your ice maker (like we don’t), just add ice cubes to a bag and crush with a meat mallet or something similar. Add this back to the freezer until you’re ready to use it and voilà! Easy crushed ice! (Plus, smashing the cubes can feel kind of therapeutic if you need some stress relief.) Once you’ve added the ice to your drink, all that’s left is to stir in the rum and top with a little club soda. Easy, right?
Not drinking? You can tweak this recipe to make mocktails, too–just leave out the rum! I hope you enjoy a refreshing raspberry-blackberry mojito outside as the weather gets warm (picnic, anyone?) Happy sipping!
