After a little research, I realized that there were many ways of decorating pumpkins without the carving or the mess! These fun techniques will be sure to take your Halloween festivities up a notch, so hurry to the pumpkin patch and pick the perfect pumpkin to decorate.<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/_MG_7799(1).jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/>\n<h2>Decoupage a Pumpkin<\/h2>\n<h3>Materials<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Mod Podge Glue<\/li>\n<li>Foam brush<\/li>\n<li>Paper, leaves or other thin materials.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Directions<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Wash your pumpkin thoroughly so there is no dirt covering the surface.<\/li>\n<li>Once the pumpkin has dried, apply a thin layer of Mod Podge glue all over the pumpkin.<\/li>\n<li>Next, immediately place the item on the pumpkin that you want to be decoupaged. I would suggest something thin such as a leaf, ribbon, or some magazine clippings. This will make it so everything dries evenly and with a flawless finish.<\/li>\n<li>After this dries, put two more top coats of Modge Podge over your final product. Let dry and viola!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/272531117_hxsevU6z_c (1)(1).jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"334\" \/>\n<h2>Shimmer a Pumpkin<\/h2>\n<h3>Materials<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Glitter of Your Choice<\/li>\n<li>Mod Podge<\/li>\n<li>Foam Brush<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Directions<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Wash your pumpkin thoroughly.<\/li>\n<li>With your foam brush, coat your pumpkin with a thin layer of Mod Podge glue.<\/li>\n<li>Immediately sprinkle the pumpkin with the glitter. You can even do this in layers so the pumpkin has many different colors.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/175830143_fIJH2wZR_c.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"450\" height=\"600\" \/>\n<h2>Lace a Pumpkin<\/h2>\n<h3>Materials<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Enough lace to cover your pumpkin completely<\/li>\n<li>Mod Podge<\/li>\n<li>Hot Glue Gun<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Directions<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>After you wash your pumpkin, let it dry.<\/li>\n<li>Next, cut your lace to fit your pumpkin. It is easy to wrap the whole piece of fabric around it to give you a general idea of how much you will need.<\/li>\n<li>Modge Podge the whole pumpkin and immediately place the lace all over your pumpkin. I like to lay the lace flat, place the pumpkin in the middle of the fabric and gather the fabric to the stem of the pumpkin.
