Here\u2019s what you\u2019ll need and how to paint leopard nails the modern way!<\/p>\n<h2>Leopard Print Nails:<\/h2>\n<figure id=\"attachment_248622\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-248622\" style=\"width: 1000px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-248622 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/March2021_1.jpg\" alt=\"a hand with palm up and fingers curled to show negative space leopard print nails \" width=\"1000\" height=\"1250\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-248622\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Shop <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/manufacturer\/11041\/essie.html\">Nail Polish<\/a><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h4>Supplies:<\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Base coat<\/li>\n<li>Sheer white nail polish<\/li>\n<li>Small size dotting tool or small nail art brush<\/li>\n<li>Gold nail polish<\/li>\n<li>Black nail polish<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/products\/gel-couture-clear-top-coat\/1475676.html\">Glossy top coat<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4>Instructions:<\/h4>\n<p><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Prep and file your nails to your desired shape.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2:<\/strong> Apply a thin layer of base coat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3:<\/strong> Apply 2-3 coats of sheer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/products\/first-fitting-gel-couture-white-nail-polish\/1475576.html\">white<\/a> nail polish as your base shade and let it dry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 4:<\/strong> Dot a small puddle of gold nail polish on a surface (I like to use a piece of foil). Using either a dotting tool with a small end or a small nail art brush, dip into the gold polish and make a small abstract-shaped blob on your nail. Just don\u2019t apply too much pressure on the tool as it could drag your base shade. Repeat a few times, keeping within a slightly diagonal shape on the side of the nail and a bit of space between each blob.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 5:<\/strong> Next, dot a small puddle of black nail polish on a surface, then grab your tool and dip into the black polish. Create alternate \u201cC\u201d shapes around the gold blobs, tracing the abstract shape&#8217;s edge. The \u201cC\u2019s\u201d will not connect&#8211;make sure there are still gaps between them. Then, in some of the bigger gaps between your blobs, place some small black dots.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 6:<\/strong> Make sure to clean your nail art tool in a bit of acetone and on a paper towel periodically.\u00a0 This ensures the polish doesn\u2019t get gloopy and messy. Be sure to repeat this process with each nail.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 7:<\/strong> Let the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/categories\/859_4390\/animal-prints.html\">leopard<\/a> spots dry, then apply a glossy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/products\/gel-couture-clear-top-coat\/1475676.html\">top coat<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 8:<\/strong> To finish, cap the edge and apply cuticle oil!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Did you try this leopard nail design?
