It&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sylandsam.com\" target=\"0\">Syl and Sam<\/a> here again &amp; we&#8217;re back with another #manicuremonday post for you to follow along with. We&#8217;re so excited to be participating in the Lulus Blog <em>Stud Week<\/em>\u00a0 &amp; we&#8217;re kicking things off with this cute and edgy manicure. This look is easy to achieve but takes a bit of patience! <\/p>\n<p> Here&#8217;s the look we&#8217;re going for: <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/studnails00.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/studnails01.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"355\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>What you&#8217;ll need:<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>A base colour <\/li>\n<li>A top coat <\/li>\n<li>&#8220;microbeads&#8221; (they can be purchased from eBay or Michaels Craft Store) <\/li>\n<li>a toothpick<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/studnails02.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/>\n<p>Start with a couple coats of your base colour. We used a coral-y pink and a slightly darker pink on our accent nail. Let each coat of your nail polish dry completely. <\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/studnails03.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"367\" \/>\n<p> Now you&#8217;re going to work on one nail at a time. Take your top coat &amp; put a generous layer on only ONE finger!<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/studnails04.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/>\n<p> Working very quickly, dip your toothpick in a tiny amount of nail polish and then touch the tip of your toothpick to a single microbead. <\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/studnails05.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"364\" \/>\n<p>The microbead should easily stick right to the end of your toothpick \ud83d\ude42 <\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/studnails06.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"411\" \/>\n<p>Take your microbead and stick it right down onto your wet topcoat. It&#8217;ll stick wherever you touch it to your nail, so place it down carefully.<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/studnails07.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"366\" \/>\n<p>Continue placing beads one at a time in an alternating pattern onto your wet top coat! <\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/studnails08.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"358\" \/>\n<p>Then repeat all of the above steps, doing one nail at a time.<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/studnails09.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"382\" \/>\n<p> Let the coat of polish dry completely with the microbeads on it &amp; then top coat with a quick dry top coat &amp; allow that to dry before doing anything with your hands \ud83d\ude09 <\/p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/images\/blog\/studnails00.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\n<p>And there you go! Cute studded nails that bring an edgy touch to the girliest of outfits! If you allow each coat to dry completely, the beads stay on quite well &amp; mine lasted for over 5 days before any fell off. <\/p>\n<p>Would you try out studded nails?
