Hip, hip, hooray, it’s the weekend, babe! Can you tell we’re excited about fall? With the official start of fashion’s favorite season (and ours) on September 22, we’re getting totally into the spirit of the return to cooler weather, lots of layers, and all things cozy and cuddly. So bundle up – or think about bundling up – and get ready for a full 48 hours of autumn-inspired activities. Let’s make some plans for what to do this weekend!<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Get outside!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nothing feels better than spending time in nature during the fall. The leaves change and the air gets crisp, which means it is the ideal time to get outside. Take your dog out for a long walk, sit on a park bench and look at the leaves, or hit a pretty trail for a hike to get tons of fresh fall air and appreciate all that mother nature has to offer. Unfortunately for many, inclement weather is preventing them from enjoying the outdoors right now. If you can, help those who can’t get outside or don’t have the time to spare for recreational activities due to natural disasters in their area by donating to hurricane, fire, earthquake, or flood relief. The American Red Cross\u00a0<\/a>and the Humane Society<\/a> are just a couple organizations who provide aid to victims of these devastating acts of nature. (Be sure to check with sites like Give.org<\/a> before donating to make sure you’re giving to a credible source.) Supporting the clean-up is also another way to give back to the environment to create beautiful spaces for everyone to enjoy.<\/p>\n

Have a PSL<\/strong><\/p>\n

Basic? Maybe. Delicious? Yes. Pumpkin flavored everything has gotten a bad rap in the last few years, but when it comes down to it, nothing gets you in the fall mood faster than a sweet and spicy sip of Starbucks’ most famous drink. We love the flavor so much, we\u00a0created our own version<\/a>! With a tasty shot of coffee liqueur as an optional addition, there’s practically no better way to say hello to fall. Not a fan? Not a problem! There are plenty of fall-flavored beverages you can pour out in observation of the changing seasons. Chai tea, apple cider, or mulled wine are all autumnal options that pair perfectly with a cozy night in.<\/p>\n

Find your perfect pair of fall boots<\/strong><\/p>\n

The newest styles are hitting the online shelves and we can hardly contain ourselves from adding everything to cart. While it may seem a little early to swap your summer slides for bulky boots, we promise if you pick up a pair early in the season, you’ll be able to avoid the mid-fall blues when your ideal pair is sold out in your size. Whether you’re choosing to invest in a high-quality pair that will last you a lifetime (western boots are a timeless classic, but totally on-trend for fall 2018) or picking a few inexpensive yet trendy pairs to keep your ‘fits fresh (leopard print kitten heels, anyone?), now is the time to find the perfect pair of boots for your fall wardrobe.
