Whether you’re a major football fan or you’re just there for the socializing, there’s no denying that getting together with friends to cheer on your team is one of the most fun\u00a0things about\u00a0fall. Along with\u00a0team spirit, you’re going to need an outfit to take you through game day that’s weather appropriate, comfy,\u00a0and of course ultra stylish. You know, tailgating \u2014 but make it fashion.<\/p>\n

Depending on where you’re gathering \u2014 and whether you like to look sporty, cool, or flirty \u2014 we’ve put together three cute tailgate outfits that are well, total winners. Check them out ahead and show up\u00a0at the next game like the style champion you are.<\/p>\n

Good Sport<\/strong><\/p>\n\"sporty\n

Flip the script on the classic sweatshirt by going for an off-the-shoulder version in athletic-inspired grey. With a frayed denim skirt<\/a>, animal print sneakers<\/a>, and a convertible crossbody that can be worn as a belt bag, you’ll hit the perfect\u00a0combo of casual and cute. Top it all off with mirrored sunglasses that add a hint of color to the mix.<\/p>\n

Blooming Babe<\/strong><\/p>\n\"floral\n

If the temps are still warm where you are (hello, California), short floral overalls<\/a> are pretty and practical: Pair them with a short sleeve striped top for a fun pattern mashup. Red sunglasses pop the color palette and platform sneakers give you a little lift (in a walkable way). Double up on stripes by tying a silky scarf to your bag or looping it around your hair.<\/p>\n

The key to a successful tailgate outfit is getting the temperature just right while representing your school colors with pride. Weather in the fall can be finicky, which is why a cropped\u00a0sweater<\/a> makes the ideal partner for a flirty\u00a0mini skirt in tonal hues to match your team (you can always wear a layer under the sweater for added warmth or so you can take the sweater off later if it gets too warm).
