But why limit the fun to weddings only? A pretty petal-filled wall makes the perfect background for a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/blog\/lifestyle\/galentines-party-ideas\/\">Galentine&#8217;s Day<\/a> photo shoot with your ladies&#8211;and, when done with faux flowers, it&#8217;s the ultra-feminine update\u00a0you didn&#8217;t know your living space needed.<\/p>\n<p>You don&#8217;t necessarily need a Kardashian-level budget or a professional set designer to make this happen, either. For a DIY flower wall backdrop worthy of any Pinterest board, follow our instructions ahead. Note: Our version uses real roses but for a longer-lasting look, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Royal-Imports-Artificial-Bouquets-Valentines\/dp\/B01NCUSD9J\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">faux flowers<\/a> are an option. Lay out the roses where you want them on the foamcore.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>2. Poke a hole through the board with a safety pin or thumbtack where you want the flower to sit. The hole should be at the base of the bloom where the flower meets the stem.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>3. Thread both ends of a piece of fishing line or string through the hole so there&#8217;s a loop on front of the board and the two ends of the fishing line on the back.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>4. Slide the stem of the rose through the loop so that the base of the bloom is secured by the loop and pull the ends of the fishing line taught.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>5.
