Spring is in the air, which means it’s time to start breaking out your warm-weather wardrobe! One of our all-time favorite spring staples is an LWD–a little <\/span>white dress<\/span><\/a>! White is the perfect color to wear to a spring event, whether you\u2019re looking for a formal option for <\/span>prom<\/span><\/a>, or something more casual<\/a> for everyday wear. How To Wear White<\/h2>\n

White isn\u2019t just <\/span>for weddings<\/span><\/a>, and there are no hard-and-fast rules for who can wear this color. White looks beautiful on every skin tone, every body shape, and for almost any occasion. There\u2019s also a big range of white shades, from <\/span>bright white<\/span> to <\/span>off-white<\/span>, or <\/span>patterned white dresses<\/span> that feature pops of color.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Because white is a neutral shade, it can be paired with virtually any color and works as a beautiful contrast to brights<\/a>, metallics, and jewel tones. While white pairs beautifully with almost any color, it also looks stunning on its own. Monochromatic looks are so in and always look super chic, no matter what shade you choose. <\/span><\/p>\n

Since white dresses make such an amazing base layer, one of our favorite things to do when styling white dresses is to layer! An open button-up shirt, a light sweater<\/a>, or a short-sleeve shirt all look fabulous over a casual white dress and can help you stay warm in early spring when the weather isn\u2019t quite as warm.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Remember, white can be paired with almost any color, so the only limit to layering is your wardrobe! You can also combine layering with a monochromatic look by choosing a white sweater, jacket, or shirt to wear with your dress.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
