Line the cupcake pan with liners or grease pan with butter and lightly dust with flour.<\/p>\n<p>2. Melt butter and add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.<\/p>\n<p>3. In another bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, cocoa powder, sugar, and salt, and add flour mixture with milk to the butter mixture.<\/p>\n<p>4. Preheat oven at 350 degrees F. Fill cupcake cups 1\/2 full and bake for 15-17 minutes or until the toothpick inserted into the cupcakes comes out clean.<\/p>\n<p>5. Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack. Allow cupcakes to cool completely before frosting.<\/p>\n<p><strong>For the frosting:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>6. Combine butter and sugar and beat with an electric mixer until blended. Add the milk, vanilla and beat for 5 minutes or until it reaches a smooth and creamy consistency.<\/p>\n<p>7. Add a few drops of blush pink food coloring and mix well into the frosting.<\/p>\n<p>8. Use an offset spatula to spoon frosting into the piping bag.<\/p>\n<p><strong>To pipe roses: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>9. Pipe in a circular motion starting in the center of the cupcake. Create petals by piping frosting in a semi-circle motion (similar to the shape of a rainbow) from left to right.
