I love making a berry smoothie with yogurt for breakfast&#8211;or a snack year-round. And one of the best things about smoothies is that they\u2019re so easily customizable to your own tastes.<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-246439\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/lulus-berry-blast-smoothie3.jpg\" alt=\"berry spinach smoothie in two glasses with leaves around \" width=\"1000\" height=\"1500\" \/>\n<p>If you have browning bananas, throw those in! Don\u2019t have any strawberries? Leave those out. Take a peek through your fruit drawer and freezer to see what you have on hand.<\/p>\n<p>Adding things like chia seeds and flax seeds add an extra <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/blog\/lifestyle\/immune-boosting-foods\/\">nutrition<\/a> boost, but they\u2019re certainly optional. If you do make smoothies often, as I do, I recommend keeping those on hand in our pantry so you\u2019ll always be able to add a spoonful to your smoothies. You can also use your favorite protein powder, but again, that\u2019s optional! (I personally like the Vital Proteins one because it\u2019s the only one I\u2019ve ever tried that is truly tasteless).<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-246438\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/06\/lulus-berry-blast-smoothie2.jpg\" alt=\"two glasses of berry smoothie with yogurt \" width=\"1000\" height=\"1500\" \/>\n<p>If you want to keep the smoothie vegan, use agave or any vegan sweetener you love instead of honey, and use non-dairy milk and yogurt.
