We’re not gonna lie: We didn’t expect to still be loving the tie-dye trend this much–and for this long. It had been a while since tie-dye clothing was considered cool or chic but last year, the once-dead fashion trend<\/a> made a surprising comeback. Now here we are, crushing on the look<\/a> more than ever.<\/p>\n

Tie-dye clothing came down the runways<\/a> riding a wave (get it?) of other surfer girl-inspired<\/a> trends that quickly caught on as the<\/em> must-have summer vibe–but the look has shown serious staying power, through several seasons<\/a>. It’s not just about ’90s Cali-girl T-shirts, although, if we’re being honest, we can’t get enough of those, either. Everything from comfy-chic loungewear sets and swimwear<\/a> to satin skirts<\/a>, sweaters, and party dresses<\/a> has gotten the hippie-chick treatment. Today, the tie-dye trend feels effortlessly cool, edgy, and even elevated. Who knew?<\/p>\n
