Not only is \u201cHot Girl Summer\u201d<\/a> the anthem of the summer<\/a>, but it should be the theme for the rest of your year–and life. Megan Thee Stallion\u2019s tune is all about having the right attitude and being unapologetically you. If you\u2019re not already living a hot girl summer, what are you waiting for?<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201dYou Need to Calm Down\u201d by Taylor Swift<\/h2>\n
<\/div>\n

Say what you will about TSwift, but the girl knows how to write a catchy tune. Swift dropped \u201cYou Need to Calm Down\u201d<\/a> right in the middle of Pride month as a way to celebrate all forms of love and shake off all the internet trolls and haters. The music video is also packed with Easter eggs and A-list cameos like <\/span>Queer Eye<\/span><\/i>\u2019s Fab Five, Ellen DeGeneres, Ryan Reynolds, and once-enemy Katy Perry. It\u2019s the most fun way to chill out.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cSucker\u201d by the Jonas Brothers<\/h2>\n

The Jonas Brothers are all grown up, and we\u2019re suckers for their new album, Happiness Begins. Their first single, \u201cSucker,\u201d<\/a> shows that the boy band is here to stay. The campy music video also has three star-studded appearances: the Jonas wives, Sophie Turner, Priyanka Chopra, and Danielle Jonas.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAll For Us\u201d by Labrinth, Zendaya<\/span><\/h2>\n

Euphoria<\/span><\/i>, HBO\u2019s buzzy drama about teens dealing with modern-day struggles, addiction, and coming of age is intense, frenetic, and unsettling, and the soundtrack only adds to the mood. The show\u2019s star, Zendaya, lends her vocals to a remixed Labrinth song, “All For Us,”<\/a> which is both captivating and haunting.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cOld Town Road\u201d by Lil Nas X featuring Billy Ray Cyrus<\/h2>\n

If you haven\u2019t heard at least a couple different remixes of chart-topper \u201cOld Town Road\u201d<\/a> yet, then you\u2019ve probably been hiding under a rock. The first remix featured Billy Ray Cyrus, and other versions include Diplo, BTS, and the yodeling kid from Walmart, so really, there\u2019s a version for everyone. There\u2019s no denying the irresistibility of this genre-bending hip hop\/country tune.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Brown Skin Girl\u201d by Beyonce with Blue Ivy Carter, SAINt JHN, and WizKid<\/h2>\n

One of the best things about the new CGI <\/span>Lion King<\/span><\/i> movie is Beyonce\u2019s companion album, <\/span>Lion King: The Gift<\/span><\/i>. \u201cBrown Skin Girl\u201d<\/a> is the superstar\u2019s ode to dark-skinned women and gives shoutouts to Lupita Nyongo, Naomi Cambell, and Kelly Rowland. Plus it has an extra personal and sweet touch: Blue Ivy follows in her musical parents\u2019 footsteps and lends her vocals to this tune.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I Don\u2019t Care\u201d by Ed Sheeran featuring Justin Bieber<\/h2>\n
<\/div>\n

If you thought Ed Sheeran and the Biebs were unlikely song partners, wait \u2018til you see their <\/span>music video for <\/span>“I Don’t Care<\/span><\/a>“, which features the duo on hilarious green screens bopping around and dressed as a panda, ice cream cone, and corn on the cob, among other things.<\/span><\/p>\n

“boyfriend\u201d by Ariana Grande with Social House<\/h2>\n
<\/div>\n

Grande\u2019s love life has given us plenty of hits (ahem, \u201cThank U, Next\u201d) and \u201cboyfriend\u201d<\/a> is no exception. <\/span>Grande<\/span><\/a> says the song is about being afraid of taking the leap into a relationship even if you\u2019re crushing on someone, and honestly, we can all relate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Blame it on her juice because Lizzo is unabashedly confident<\/a> and full of positivity, and her energy is contagious. If you need a banging summer song with a side of empowerment, “Juice<\/a>” is your anthem.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Beautiful People\u201d by Ed Sheeran featuring Khalid<\/h2>\n

Sheeran brings in R&B singer Khalid in \u201cBeautiful People,\u201d<\/a> a reminder to be yourself and not to get caught up in the world of beautiful people, which is filled with \u201cchampagne and rolled-up notes, prenups and broken homes.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

It seems like it was just yesterday when we first heard of Billie Eilish, the artist who uploaded her first song to SoundCloud in 2015, and now she\u2019s everywhere. Eilish\u2019s ethereal, mysterious, almost whisper-like vocals are a nice contrast to the typical pop stars of the Gen Z era and for anyone with a little bit of a dark side, “Bad Guy”<\/a> reinforces the sentiment, \u201cI\u2019m the bad guy, duh.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

“Never Really Over\u201d by Katy Perry<\/h2>\n
