Think two-tone nails in light sage green &amp; a deep evergreen, but you could also try ruby <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/categories\/1882\/red.html\">reds<\/a>, deep <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/categories\/5336\/hues-of-blue.html\">blues<\/a>&#8211;pretty much any jewel tones. The possibilities are endless!<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-243678\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/October3.jpg\" alt=\"two tone nails in shades of green\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1000\" \/>\n<p>Adding color with a monochromatic touch brings a fresh and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/blog\/beauty\/fall-floral-manicure\/\">modern fall take<\/a> on the classic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/blog\/beauty\/reverse-french-manicure\/\">French<\/a>, and it\u2019s simple to do <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/categories\/5476\/the-stay-in-shop.html\">at home<\/a>. Here\u2019s what you\u2019ll need to DIY these cute green nails:<\/p>\n<h2>Light Green Nails with Evergreen Tips<\/h2>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-243676\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/October1.jpg\" alt=\"two-tone light green nails with dark green french tips\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1000\" \/>\n<h3>Supplies:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Base coat<\/li>\n<li>Sage green nail polish (I used Essie\u2019s So Matcha Energy)<\/li>\n<li>Dark green nail polish (I used UO Nail Lacquer in Envy)<\/li>\n<li>Thin nail art brush<\/li>\n<li>Glossy top coat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Instructions:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> Prep and file your nails to your desired shape<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2:<\/strong> Apply a base coat to protect the nails and to give you a longer-lasting manicure. This is especially important when using deeper shades this fall since they\u2019re more likely to stain!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3:<\/strong> Apply 1-2 coats of the sage green nail polish until opaque, which will be your base shade.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 4:<\/strong> Once that dries, the dark green polish will be your French tip. There are two ways you can approach French tip application, depending on what you\u2019re most comfortable with! The first method requires no tools: Using the brush straight from the bottle, make sure there\u2019s not too much excess on the end and carefully brush on your French tip following your nail shape. Alternately, you can also use a nail art brush dipped in the dark green shade to draw a thin line to map out your shape. Then fill in the top with the nail polish brush once you\u2019ve got your desired edge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 5:<\/strong> Once your two-tone nail design is dry, top with a glossy top coat and cap the free edge.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Did you try this tonal manicure?
