It\u2019s easy, quick, and delicious. They\u2019re usually wrapped in puff pastry, they\u2019re oozing cheese, and they sometimes have some sort of preserves (<a style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/blog\/recipes\/goat-cheese-crostini-recipe\/\">apricot<\/a>, <a style=\"background-color: #ffffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/blog\/recipes\/festive-holiday-cocktail\/\">cranberry<\/a>, or even raspberry!). I modeled this recipe after that type of brie appetizer, <em>but<\/em> I made them individual. It\u2019s the perfect way to make and enjoy appetizers!<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-244337\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/cranberry-brie-puff-pastry-bites-9291.jpg\" alt=\"brie appetizer with cranberry\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1500\" \/>\n<p>Plus, this brie puff pastry has all sorts of yummy components: flaky, golden pastry, sweet cranberry sauce, and plenty of gooey cheese! It\u2019s the perfect holiday appetizer. You can, of course, use any recipe you like for homemade cranberry sauce if you\u2019d like to swap that in for store-bought cranberry sauce.\u00a0 The important part is that you make and enjoy these little golden brown bites of deliciousness.<\/p>\n<p>Keep scrolling to get all the instructions for this recipe. Wishing you all a happy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/blog\/lifestyle\/outdoor-thanksgiving-dinner-party\/\">Thanksgiving<\/a>!<\/p>\n<h2>Cranberry Brie Puff Pastry:<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Prep time:<\/strong> 55 minutes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Yields:<\/strong> 12 servings<\/p>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-244339\" src=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/11\/cranberry-brie-puff-pastry-bites-9309.jpg\" alt=\"baked brie puff pastry bites appetizer\" width=\"1000\" height=\"1500\" \/>\n<h3>Ingredients:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>One 14oz can of whole cranberry sauce<\/li>\n<li>One sheet frozen puff pastry<\/li>\n<li>10 ounces brie<\/li>\n<li>1 large egg<\/li>\n<li>Fresh rosemary for garnish, if desired<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Instructions:<\/h3>\n<ol>\n<li>Thaw the puff pastry according to the directions on the package.<\/li>\n<li>Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F. Spray a muffin tin well with nonstick spray.<\/li>\n<li>Slice the top layer of rind off the brie.<\/li>\n<li>Open the can of cranberry sauce and give it a good stir.<\/li>\n<li>Beat the egg in a small bowl&#8211;this will be your egg wash.<\/li>\n<li>Lightly flour your counter. Unfold the sheet of thawed puff pastry and roll it larger, until it\u2019s about 14 inches by 12 inches.<\/li>\n<li>Slice into 12 equal squares (they don\u2019t need to be perfectly square or perfectly even!) Place one square of puff pastry into each muffin cavity.<\/li>\n<li>Scoop out 1 tablespoon of brie and drop that in the bottom of each puff pastry square.<\/li>\n<li>Top with about 1 and \u00bd tbsp of cranberry sauce.<\/li>\n<li>Brush the beaten egg over the exposed puff pastry.<\/li>\n<li>Bake the puff pastry bites for 21-23 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Let cool in the pan for a few minutes, then loosen them with a butter knife to get them out.<\/li>\n<li>Enjoy immediately!
