When you want a mani that&#8217;s simple and chic&#8211;and you can do yourself&#8211;give this look a try! Here\u2019s what you\u2019ll need to create your own flower nail art at home:<\/p>\n<h2>Green Flower Nails<\/h2>\n<p><video style=\"width: calc(100% - 2px); min-width: 326px;\" autoplay=\"autoplay\" loop=\"loop\" muted=\"\" controls=\"controls\" ><source src=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/video\/blog\/BridalTutorial.webm\" type=\"video\/webm\" \/><source src=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/video\/blog\/BridalTutorial.mp4\" type=\"video\/mp4\" \/><source src=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/video\/blog\/BridalTutorial.ogv\" type=\"video\/ogg\" \/>Your browser does not support this video<\/video><\/p>\n<h3>Supplies:<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Base coat<\/li>\n<li>Sheer neutral nail polish (I used <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lulus.com\/manufacturer\/11041\/essie.html\">Essie<\/a> Sugar Daddy)<\/li>\n<li>Dotting tool<\/li>\n<li>Mint or sage green nail polish (I used Essie Can Dew Attitude)<\/li>\n<li>Cream or white nail polish (I used Essie Pre-Show Jitters)<\/li>\n<li>Glossy top coat<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Instructions:<\/h3>\n<p><strong>Step 1:<\/strong> For the longest-lasting manicure, prep your nails first. Shape your nails, push back your cuticles,\u00a0 and remove any oils on the nail with a bit of acetone or polish remover.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 2:<\/strong> Apply one thin layer of base coat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 3:<\/strong> Apply two thin layers of Essie\u2019s Sugar Daddy on each nail. Let them dry.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 4:<\/strong> On your nail polish palette (this can be a piece of foil or plastic), place some of Essie\u2019s Can Dew Attitude. Grabbing your dotting tool, dip into the mint green shade and place your first dot on the nail where you want to start placing flowers.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 5:<\/strong> Around that initial dot, continue placing five more dots to create petals. Make sure you leave enough space between the petals so the flower maintains a distinct shape. (Tip: Don\u2019t forget to periodically clean off your dotting tool in acetone and wipe off built-up polish. This will ensure a more crisp dot and uniform shape.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 6:<\/strong> This is where you can let your creativity shine! Continue placing flowers around the perimeter of the nail, but keep it relatively minimal.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 7:<\/strong> Try placements along the top edge of the nail, curving along the right edge of the nail. Be sure to switch up the placements on each nail for variety.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 8:<\/strong> Using Essie\u2019s Pre-Show Jitters and the dotting tool, place white dots in the center of each nail. Let the design have some extra time to dry so the top coat doesn\u2019t pull on any of your flowers!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 9:<\/strong> Top with a glossy top coat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Step 10:<\/strong> Finish with cuticle oil!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Did you try this flower nail art design?
