If you have big thighs this may be a no. I gained weight and handed them down to my sister who is very petite. The "scalloped" part bends and folds when you walk if you're on the thicker side. It might work in a larger size. My waist is small so I would've had to buy a larger size and get the waist tailored to fit me properly.
