Looking for a super-simple, almost-effortless hairdo that still feels sexy? Well, then you’ll fall in love with this simplified version of Pamela Anderson’s iconic updo! Pam wore this look with her hair piled high, and with long, loose tendrils framing her face, behind her ears, and at the back of her neck.

We’ve tamed this look just a touch to make it wearable for every day, and doable in just a few minutes! Sexy and messy in a purposeful way, this hairstyle could just as easily be worn to a formal event. By playing with your hair accessories, you can dress this look up or down, and match the vibe of your outfit!

You Will Need…

  • 1 large roller
  • 1 clip for holding hair while you work
  • 2 bobby pins
  • 1 clear hair elastic (or one that matches the color of your hair)
  • 1 claw clip

Instructions:

Step 1: Curl the hair away from the face using a 1-inch curling iron, then brush through the curls.

Step 2: Wrap face-framing pieces around a 1.5-inch Velcro roller, wrapping them toward the face.

Step 3: Twist the rest of the hair at the nape of the neck and pull upward into a vertical twist. Then, hold the hair into place using an alligator clip.

Step 4: Using two bobby pins and an elastic, create a bungee elastic. To create, just feed the elastic through the pins.

Step 5: Secure the hair into place using the DIY bungee below the alligator clip for extra security.

Step 6: Add a decorative claw clip accessory of choice, then remove the alligator clip.

Step 7: Use bobby pins to twist and pin the curls into place.

Step 8: Remove the Velcro roller and brush through the face-framing pieces.
