The Glittering Navy Mani You’ll Want to Wear Through Winter

If you’re looking for a sparkly mani for the holiday season that’s not too cutesy or literal (no gingerbread men, etc.), go for glittery dark blue nails with a hint of white. Not only is blue known to be a soothing, stress-reducing color, but combining a yin yang-style design with a hint of sparkle makes for a chic wintery look that’s subtly festive. It’s like a  glittering night sky! Bonus: You can wear this navy nail design through the season and into the new year (can’t. come. fast enough.)

Sparkly Dark Blue Nail Design

Supplies:

• Glittery dark blue nail polish
• White nail polish
• Liner brush

Instructions:

Step 1: Start by using a liner brush to draw an S-like line in the middle of the nail.

Step 2: You can use the polish bottle brush to color in the top part of one side of the S dark blue, and then use the liner brush to color in the rest of the bottom part.

Step 3: Use a Bobby pin or a dotting tool to dot in the two circles, one in dark blue nail polish, one in white.

Step 4: Use the liner brush to dot on tiny different white specks on the polished side.

Step 5: Lastly, paint on the white four-pointed star. Start off by going from the center out, then let it dry and add a top coat.
