If you’re up for decking out your digits this Valentine’s Day in a subtly stylish and sophisticated way, read on. Straight from of our go-to manicure guru, nail artist Cassandre Banel, we’re bringing you tutorials for two pretty Valentines nail art designs that are totally DIY-able. Try them out on yourself or share the love with your galentine. Bonus: These manis will still feel fresh and fashionable on February 15. Our hearts are already racing.
1. Paint 2 coats of light mauve or pink polish onto clean nails. Wait about 10 minutes for polish to dry.
2. Brush a small amount of pink glitter polish onto the corner of a makeup sponge, and dab the glitter onto the right side of the nail in a vertical pattern, as shown. (If you don’t have a makeup sponge, you can lightly brush the pink glitter in a horizontal motion towards the center of the nail, starting from the right side.)
