Behind the Edit: A Q&A with Halle Simons

We sat down with Halle to hear more about how it all came together, her favorite trends, and what she hopes you’ll love about the edit. Here’s an inside look, straight from Halle.

Lulus: For those who may not be familiar, tell us about yourself! Where are you from, and how did you start as a creator?

Halle Simons: Hi! I’m Halle Simons! I am 21 and from Salt Lake City, Utah; I have lived here all my life. I started social media when I was 16, going into my senior year of high school, as a fun hobby and something to do during the summer. I could have never imagined what it would turn into!

Lulus: What made a Lulus partnership feel like the right fit for you?

HS: I have always loved fashion and styling outfits together for different occasions, and I have always loved Lulus, especially their dresses! I was so excited when I saw this opportunity come across; I was dying to do it!

Lulus: How would you describe your style in three words?

HS: Trendy while comfortable.

Lulus: Which piece from the edit are you most excited about?

HS: The Terrance Ivory Strapless Bubble Hem Midi Dress: I love anything with polka dots, so this dress is right up my alley!

Lulus: Finish this sentence: “My edit is perfect for anyone who…”

HS: My edit is perfect for anyone who wants to feel beautiful and confident in a dress without having to sacrifice comfort.

Lulus: What’s one trend you’ll never give up?

HS: Polka dots!

Lulus: What’s one thing people might be surprised to learn about you?

HS: Although I love a good resort, I also love being out in nature! Camping, backpacking, and hiking are some of my favorite things to do.

Lulus: Current obsession?

HS: Gilmore Girls!

Lulus: Anything else you want people to know?

HS: I’m so excited this dress edit is finally here–I hope you guys love these dresses as much as I do!
