Achieving the perfect 90s blowout for your next event is easy. You’ll need rollers, a blow-dry brush or round brush and hairdryer, and some volume powder. This look is all about effortless-looking lift! Wear it with a simple LBD (try backless for maximum impact!), sparkly sequin cocktail dress, or a Cindy Crawford-esque bodysuit and jeans. Either way, you’re going to look, well, super.

How to Do a 90s Blowout:

Instructions:

Step 1: Spray hair with heat protectant spray and brush through

Step 2: Section hair into three “layers”

Step 3: Use either hot rollers or Velcro rollers to roll hair under, section by section.

Step 4: If you have a blow-dry brush (as seen in the video) or a round brush and hairdryer, smooth the hairline away from the face before adding rollers.

Step 5: In order to get the most lift at the root, angle the hair up before you start to roll.

Step 6: For the top section, turn rollers away from the face.

Step 7: Allow the rollers time to cool.

Step 8: Remove rollers and run your fingers through the hair to break up the curls.

Step 9: Add volume powder to roots and tease the front sections for volume around the face.
