Whether you’re coupled up this Valentine’s Day or not, a super-cute manicure is something we can all get on board with, right? Of course, it is. Even if you think the holiday itself is silly or cheesy, this Valentine nail art is impossible not to love–especially because you can wear it well past February 14. The negative space trend is still going very strong, and heart nails are certainly not limited to one day of the year! So go ahead and spread the love. Read on to see how to make these Valentine’s nails (or Galentine’s nails, or any old Tuesday nails…) all yours.
Step 1: Start off by painting the base with a sheer color. One coat works perfectly
Step 2: Use a pinkish nude polish of choice and paint half your nail. Clean up with an angled brush if it’s not clean.
Step 3: Paint a small red heart in the center of the polished half. Wait for it to dry for 2 minutes and add a top coat to finish off your Valentine’s nails.
