Currently Crushing On: Paola Cossentino

It’s no secret we’re obsessed with all things Italian — from the food to the fashion. We dream about living la dolce vita and strolling the streets of Positano decked out in retro screen siren-inspired looks. And it may all have something to do with Paola Cossentino, our current girl crush from across the pond.

Rome-based Paola’s snaps all look like they could have come from a vintage postcard. Her style is decidedly old-school Italian bombshell, with virtually all her photos shot on 35mm film (and often hashtagged with #filmisnotdead and #vintagevibes). In this tie-front red striped set, she’s on trend and still totally timeless. Bellissima!

Paola’s color palette is consistent — she loves red, black, and white — and that’s another part of why we swoon for her style. Her look is always undeniably Paola and has a distinct point of view. This babe knows what works for her and she sticks to it, the mark of a woman who’s confidently chic.

That’s not to say Cossentino doesn’t experiment with trends: she just does so in her own timeless way. Beret? Sure — in red, of course.  Cherry print? Absolutely — in the form of a sultry LBD. From vacation-ready ensembles to date night outfits, Paola’s style is cool, copy-worthy and has earned her a place as our current crush.
