MVP Trend of the Week: Leopard Print

We’ll admit it: we pretty much consider leopard a neutral at this point. There’s not much we can’t style this wild print with — so needless to say, now that the trend has hit fever pitch, we’re pretty pleased.

Leopard print isn’t exactly new, but it has definitely waxed and waned in popularity, the way trends do. Some seasons it would be everywhere, others not as much — but it’s always been around. If nothing else, rock stars and fancy ladies who lunch could always be counted on to keep wild spots in business. But this season feline fashion is back in a big (cat) way — designers showed it in every iteration on the runways and street style stars have enthusiastically (and stylishly) embraced the print.  It’s easy to see why: Leopard print just works seamlessly into everything from casual denim looks to dressed-up leather skirt outfits. We’ve seen fashion insiders rocking the pattern with bright hues, neutrals, plaid, polka dots, and more, which is why it’s this week’s MVP trend.
