‘Tis the season! The winter holidays are officially starting this week, and we couldn’t be more ready for it. A day celebrating family, friends, and food…count us in! Typically Thanksgiving is known for being cozy, casual, and family oriented, but that’s no excuse to not have a memorable holiday ensemble. We’ve rounded up a few of our favorite Thanksgiving outfits as inspiration for your Thursday ‘fit, with comfort being a priority!
Many of us will be spending Thanksgiving with our families, which means we get to keep it cozy and simple! We love the classic sweater and denim look, and it’s perfect for a day with the fam. A cute baggy sweater perfectly aligns with our Turkey Day diet (hello food coma!), and prefer black denim for the occasion to create an outfit that’s holiday worthy.
What’s a surefire way to have a fun-filled Thanksgiving? Friendsgiving! There’s nothing like spending the day with your chosen fam, and it’s an ideal time to break out your favorite sweater dress. Sweater dresses are ideal combo of comfy and chic, sans waistband! If it’s chilly, we love pairing sweater dresses with over the knee boots (flat or heeled) for the ultimate statement, or pair your dress with your go-to mid-calf booties for an easy chic look.
Meeting your significant other’s parents is an exciting, yet nerve racking time. If you haven’t had the chance to meet them, this may be the day you should dress to impress! Not knowing how fancy your significant other’s Thanksgiving soiree might be, we recommend wearing your favorite modest fall dress or skirt. To keep your outfit holiday worthy, include fall hues and long sleeves in your look. With comfort still trumping all rules this holiday, pair your skirt with a cozy sweater, or layer your fall frock with a cardigan. And of course–both of these outfits would look flawless with your favorite mules or go-to booties.
