Pear cocktail? Don’t mind if we do! Fall is here and with it, a whole new crop of fruits at their flavorful peak. Among the top “picks” for
autumn are, you guessed it, pears. While
peaches and strawberries are summer staples, pears are bountiful in the months between
September and January, which means it’s time to infuse some into your fall cocktails. We’re
starting off the season with a mimosa recipe that nixes the OJ entirely–and includes notes of ginger, too.
Our sparkling pear cocktail is perfect for welcoming the brisk temperatures (hello,
sweater weather). Weekends filled with
apple picking,
pumpkin picking,
wine tasting, and more, should absolutely include a fresh fall take on the
classic mimosa recipe. The days for dining al fresco may be waning, but a brunch that features this fall cocktail is guaranteed to have you and your guests saying “summer who?”
In addition to the obvious pear juice and sliced Bosc pear, our mimosa recipe features ginger liqueur, prosecco, fresh thyme, and
ginger. The result: a symphony of seasonal flavors that is music to your, er, taste buds. Ahead, check out all the details on how to make this sparkling pear cocktail your new favorite
fall sip. Cheers!

This looks amazing- but the instruction are confusing to me. After you muddle the ginger, what do you do with it? Do you use a shaker with the liquor and juice and strain the ginger? Top with sparkling wine?
Thanks!
