It’s Spooky Season–time to embrace the magic with nail art that’s both eerie and elegant. If you’re the type that prefers more understated, simple Halloween nail designs, a timeless color combo with just a hint of haunting is well, the ultimate treat. In this tutorial, I’m showing how to do a stylish set of black and white Halloween nails–complete with a spider web accent–that’s totally bewitching.

If the precision artistry of spider web nail art feels intimidating, have no fear–here, I’m using nail stickers to add extra Halloween vibes. So get ready to cast a spell with your fingertips! Whether you’re attending a Halloween party or simply want to celebrate the season in style, this striking, simple black and white design is perfect for anyone looking to add a touch of spookiness to their look, without going overboard with the ghoulishness.

Supplies:

      • Black and white nail polish
      • Neutral base color polish
      • Halloween nail sticker set
      • Top coat
      • Tweezers (optional) to help place stickers
      • Clean-up brush and  acetone (optional)

Instructions:

  • 1. Paint all nails and let dry:
          • Paint the pointer and middle fingers with the base coat.
          • Paint the thumb and ring fingers with the black polish.
          • Paint the pinky half white down the middle
    2. Paint white French tips on the pointer and middle fingers, then clean up with a brush dipped in acetone if needed.
    3. Paint the other half of the pinky finger black down the middle and clean up with a brush dipped in acetone if needed
    4. Select and place your desired stickers:
        • Place one star on the pointer finger near the French tip.
        • Put two stars on the middle finger near the French tip.
        • Apply the white spiderweb on the ring finger.
    5. File down any stickers hanging off the nail.
    6. Paint all nails with a top coat and let dry.
