Behind the Scenes of Our Desert Disco Festival Showroom in Los Angeles

If there’s one thing we know at Lulus, it’s how to get your look ready for an upcoming event. And that’s especially true when it comes to cute festival ‘fits! So, with concert season upon us, it only made sense that we host a Desert Disco Festival Showroom at our Melrose store in Los Angeles, and invite some of our favorite girlies to kick off the season with us. The event attracted a slew of stylish guests, including stars of Netflix’s Love is Blind and Perfect Match, Amber Desiree “AD” Smith, Jessica Vestal, and Micah Lussier.

And what a desert disco it was! Our storefront on Melrose was transformed into a festival queen’s dream, complete with a photo-ready desertscape mural, disco balls, and neon acrylic and mirror ball cacti sculptures by Corrie In Color.

While DJ Sahar Habibi did her thing behind the decks, guests meandered through the scene, shopping western boots, rhinestone fringe denim jackets, crochet dresses, and more from Lulus spring and summer offerings. And picking out festival-ready fashion was only part of the fun!

The crowd also enjoyed sips and snacks from local vendors including fair-favorite SunnyBlue omusubi, a soft serve ice cream bar from Close Encounters, and drinks served up by Heaven Sent.

B36 Tattoo was on-site doing fine line micro tattoos, while guests snagged sun protection from the Vacation sunscreen bar. New-to-Lulus brand Teva celebrated with us by gifting all the girlies some of their signature festival-ready footwear.
